This map pack is designed from the ground up for one thing.... CAMPING! If you saw the interview of the the team behind them. They say things like better over watch positions and vantage points. Translation better designed for camping its like a secret slogan.

Agreed good news indeed I also can not wait to play this. Wish they would change the release date to tomorrow since its gold now. Takes awhile for disc but hey digital distribution no problem. I love the way the combat seems so much tighter in this one vs the first one.

TotalPS3Fanboy I've seen that argument posted a couple times in the past few days. Though I think you are looking at it wrong. In the situation of your data being protected. Its more like expecting someone who is a black belt to not get beat up by a random mugger. If they lose, then you would think to yourself. what use is the kung fu?

In this case people expected for Sony's kung fu to be strong. Though it seems either their kung fu wasn't strong enough. That or m...

I hoping for much more in the the form of co-op. I loved the co-op but I wanted much more of it.

The point in moving up is when its a big enough step for something so far from the previous gen. That it is actually a huge difference. 720p to 1080p with not all games being able to hold 60fps is not an accomplishment. The GTX 570 can't even hold 60fps at 1920x1200 on Just Cause 2 with 4xaa. The next gen should have no trouble running anything at 1920x1080 at 60fps. An currently like I said before that is not cost effective. So no its not a Gigantic difference. An nice try with the bs i7...

If that's the case do you really want to move on now when the difference isn't going to be that great? Everything about consoles is about being cost effective.Non of the current high end cards are cost effective nor is the difference great enough on ones that are. If an increase in graphics is all you are looking for then just build a PC. You can upgrade to your hearts content.

It is a good idea as long as the games selection is going to keep you sustained. I currently have a PS3/PC setup and its great. Games like Guild Wars 2, Witcher 2 and probably Diablo 3 keep me looking forward on my PC. As well as a few others I will play on both like Skyrim and Rage. An then my PS3 for everything else an games like Uncharted 3, Infamous 2 and L.A. Noire. As well as quite a few other games that either won't see the light of day on PC or take forever like AC:Brotherhood. <...

BiggCMan I agree I wanted bigger better and longer co-op missions. They were so much fun for me and my friends. Probably my favorite next to the single player and then competitive.

STONEY4 Don't go pulling the its consoles fault that devs sucked on said games optimization for PC. They just sucked at it period. If they wanted to they could have optimized it better or optimized it at all. Has nothing to do with console put the blame where it needs to be. Either on the dev or the game engine or both.

Macky exactly man, its what I have been saying for years now. The polish and overall better quality in a lot of console exclusives is just far better. An I to like you have my PC for a few things here and there like the Witcher 2 even though I didn't like Witcher 1 very much this one looks much improved. I have been saying for so long now that if PC's are so much more powerful then why is my 275GTX buckling on Dragon Age II at 1024x768. The Optimization as of late has been down right ...

cakeisalie I think you are stretching the upgrade thing. My 275GTX turned 2 years old the fourth of this month. I am getting horrible fps on Dragon Age II on 1280 x 768. So yes I need to upgrade and that was before the 2 year mark.

Its nice and all and I to originally got it on PS3 with all the DLC. Though we are talking a year and a half late I've beaten this game senseless by now. I agree steam deals are great though, when its something I occasionally want.

Sony should start their E3 show with this song. http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Wow I couldn't type the rest of what I wanted to say because according to this stupid spam filter. Of which I have never seen before it thinks my comment looks like spam wtf is that?

Anyway I could imagine the journalist looks it would be so funny. All black dark side theme.

ipe man I agree with you 100%. I to rock the console PC combo in my case PS3/PC and I think it works well for me. Though even now my 275GTX is already feeling outdated on games like Dragon Age II(btw on 1280x768). An this card has just turned 2 years old 4 days ago. Now if I want to get back to some great frames on all games. I'm looking at least $240 for a 560GTX MSI from newegg.

We are talking about a PC I built end of July 2009 for about 1500 no monitor. Even if you ad...

MisterNine I built my rig as well & currently helping 3 other people build theirs. I have also helped a few others prior to either build from scratch or upgrading. I am not new to this which is why I know exactly what can play what. An also how marginal of a difference if any the majority(not all) of these multiplatform titles have even on high settings. Yes some do get catered to a really nice upgrade in visuals. As far as performance goes that is completely dependent on your rig. Like I...

If you are not going to read my entire post please just skip it altogether.

Yes it is a great combo, though I tend to be more solo on the PC then the PS3. Other then Killing Floor, Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3 everything else is a solo game. So I tend to play a lot more multiplatform titles on my PS3. Though if they warrant a play through on PC as well I have no problem doing both. I also happen to like trophies, not a trophy whore just like them. Perfect example played Fallout ...

Nice is a descriptive word relative to what you consider nice. Meaning what you consider nice at 300 could be absolutely useless for what said person wants to achieve. No one builds a rig to turn settings down. For 300 there isn't a single person I know that a pc at that price could satisfy their needs. An I built my entire PC from newegg.

The pip boy's design in Fallout 3 was consoles fault? I missed that article where the devs said they changed their original design because of consoles.

You have to realize that the number of people out there blowing $700 on a graphics card. Is very small compared the to numbers needed for a triple A title. An that number just gets smaller when consider how many of those people will buy your game. I've said this twice today alone, just because a game makes your 6990 cry doesn't make it a good game. More often then not lately bad optimization on my pc games has been the cause of lag. I should never hear someone say they are getting 15f...
