i'm guessing the US will do a similar tactic to ban this game...you might have to buy it from Uganda...
nothing that glorifies gore and grusome premeditated murder against other human beings like manhunt 2 does...
halo was really fun, resistance is pretty cool, gears of war was a bit grusome with the chainsaw but at least it was toward a subterranean alien race...there's a difference.
i didn't play manhunt, i won't play manhunt 2...and for the same reasons i didn't play postal or postal 2...
@Torch why would you even say something like that? i'm an exception? so you have no problem with hurting me emotionally or physically? i can't believe you said that. you're seriously cruel.
@ItsDubC yes running over people in cars is murder too but manhunt2 for the wii involves a less detached form of murder. this is one of the reasons why BBFC or whatever didn't put a rating on it.
there's enough violence in the world already...i find no need to elevate its popularity by buying a game that glorifies murder.
i think i'll pass on this one...there's enough violence in the world already. i don't need to reenact any for "fun".
great article. i enjoyed reading it. not that i would expect Nintendo to do anything of the sort but it was fun to imagine it happening.
i don't think any console is going to topple Microsoft's xbox, amazing online system. but if one does, it would indeed be Nintendo and no other.
this was important, why? being aroused by fear and dread is a serious psychological problem, get help.
finally some online content...still not what i'm looking for though. red steel online or metroid prime 3 would be two of my picks :) MP 3 would be sweet...
not bad for the wii...still probably not a game i'd get
lol...that's good editing
i also hope they add a story line with voice acting or words or something...
um...i want some of what he was smoking...
wow. i can't believe how ignorant you are to truth. opinion is important when it comes to non-trivial subject matter, not when serious consequences can be had by making an ignorant decision. your words definately show that you are a person that acts before thinking.
i don't think GAMES should ever be a medium for serious and complex subject matter. it's a GAME and should be treated as such. serious and complex subject matter should be left in the classrooms/lecture halls/etc. to be debated and philosophized on.
we don't need to make this world any worse by trivializing serious subject matter into a game we play on a machine...
not sure what happened with the above guys reply but obviously you touched a nerve with him...but it is good to know that this card is pretty high end sh*t
again, it's the fact the there is a separation between church and state...
@nobizlikesnowbiz: my point is that it's not a public owned building therefore it has rights as a stand alone entity and use of its image without consent is unlawful...
@VirusE: "religious hypocrites are what is wrong with this world, go pick up a history book and do some reading" this is true... religious hypocrites are a problem with the world but people like you are in the sam...
the reason is because of the separation of church and state...
why would you even think about bringing children into the world when you know the world is going to sh*t?
people like you are what's wrong with the world today...people who are irresponsible, compassionless, and inconsiderate are the ones making the world what it is...ironically it's these people who are causing the problems that the same people complain about...
i just don't understand how people can find entertainment in grotesque and glorified violence...i don't understand this for video games like manhunt2 or postal, horror movies, or glorified war movies...i'm just saddened and confused that people find it entertaining...
to be fair, there are people who CAN handle and digest this type of situation without turning psycho and actually going out and hurting others...so instead of totally banning it and slapping those people in the fa...
