Yea I remember that, it was the Russians who trained dogs to basically see Tanks as good, problem was the dogs were unable to differentiate between German and Russian tanks so it would go under what ever it saw with bombs strapped to its back. It actually caused a entire Red Army division to retreat IIRC.
This gave me a pretty good laugh, it would be funny if this was approved and made it to the top!
Ultimulu: Well apparently Jobs did in the 90s when he came to Microsoft asking for money to keep Apple afloat.
What you guys have to understand is this is just business talk, sure they say such things but they are also partners in many ventures.
Good to see these pricks have respected the Worlds veterans with these outlandish attacks against a game trying to recreate the horrors faced by many war veterans in World War II. Attack dogs are nothing new and were commonly used in the War by all sides, I'm sure the vets had just as much "entertaining fun" killing dogs that were gnawing away at a comrades throat.
Although it was good the Dreamcast era is still near and dear to me!
Really valid arguments proving competition is indeed a good thing, contrary to what fanboys may spew.
He obviously doesn't get it, the Genesis was f**king awesome!
You would obviously need to tailor content towards the Wii if you want to make money, party games are definitely a start.
Horribly written, this guy is running a site? I guess this is what happens when 8 year olds get access to credit cards.
Definitely a interesting announcement, Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper have always interested me, I for one will be picking this up. If it is a XBLA title it will do REALLY well, if its a disc based title it will be pretty iffy. Now that their are no size limits on the Xbox Live Marketplace it will definitely be a good route.
We must be doing something wrong then, what online cards do you have to keep buying every month?
@Morganfall: Your using Sarcastic Gamer has a source? A article written by the Playstation guy to boot?!?!
N4GRROD360: Again, L4D is not a failure, its sold in the millions and is still in the NPD top 10 as me and Morganfail posted in the Gamerzone.
n4grrod: Wow check your facts dude, Left 4 Dead did insanely well for EA, IIRC it had solved over a million copies in 2008 alone and is still in the top 10 NPD numbers, it was far from a failure.
When it comes to Mass Effect, the tech was already their, I don't think it cost them much to port the game to the PC, they probably made it back and then some.
In some cases perhaps they think of it like this:
A site with dedicated hosting and millions of viewers a month links to a small blog running on shared server hosting, traffic explodes and the host freezes the account for overusing resources. Site owner gets mad at IGN and seeks reimbursement????
The 2K series is pretty good
Isn't KI a European fighter? Its developed and owned by Rare isn't it?
Left Down Left Right Down Down Left Left Right Right, I think was the code for the Genesis version of MK II, chunks of it are engrained in my head as well.
LOL! No games? Yea sure, nice try.
Do NPD numbers also include Canada? Because their is no continent know as America ;) The territory of North America vs Europe would be a better comparison if Canada has any way of tracking data like NPD.
Marceles: IIRC, Microsoft also started charging for gigabyte recently, not at launch as you claim.
