I don't agree with the idea that it needs a good story. Gameplay can carry a game, although I'd certainly welcome a good story.
I dont expect the narrative to be very poignant, however the art style is great, and I fall in love with good turn based rpgs so this will definitely be a buy.

The devs should make whatever decision they feel is best. No other argument needs to be made. Also, we should all back off this whole resolution and fps debate because those engaging in it have taken it either too personally or been downright nasty to those who oppose their views. We're the part of the gaming "community", we should act like it.
No, it's like saying starbound is a terraria killer. And the witcher will set the tone for open world rpgs on the current gen. It will have better combat than any elder scrolls game 10x. The elder scrolls have always copped out when it comes to combat, specifically melee combat.
