I know my wife would enjoy the features but after watching a movie with her I am ready to start gaming, not watch features. I guess if I was going to back one of the sides I would go with HD-DVD since it's cheaper, more features and Sony didn't force it on me.

if the 360 had a built in HDDVD drive. That would mean the Xbox 360 would be in the same boat as the PS3 right about now or worst with the RROD issues. I don't think anyone is DOOMED but it will take some time for Sony to even come close to 2nd place.

I really don't care much for the points really, at least not until the next Xbox Rewards Challenge comes around. you would care, especially when you would get more achievements with the extra content. Oh wait, PS3 has no achievements, so they wouldn't get the most out of the game anyway even if they did get the extra DLC. That's the beauty of achievements, it gets you to complete games and do things you might not have ever thought to do in a game. You get way more out of the game then imagined but only those with a 360 could attest to that.

buy an Xbox 360 from Costco or Costco.com and have a lifetime warranty at no extra cost.

If M$ didn't have MOJO, gamers around the would be out a few Billion $ right about now but M$ used there MOJO and gave the 360 a 3 year warranty. Sure they had there problems with there box but it's fixable and there using there MOJO to get it right and soon it will be near perfect, nothing is perfect in this world.

The PS2 had it's problems, what did Sony do? Did they turn over and die? No and nether is M$.

If anything MGS4 and killzone 2 are overhyped. Those two games won't be out until next year or so and they post about it on this site like it's coming out next month. People need to just not be such fanboys and see games as they are and buy all the systems if they have the money to buy them so they could play all the great games coming out on both systems. You've got to admit, owning a Xbox 360 this year is going to be off the hook and next year is shaping up for the PS3, unless M$ pulls some...

that's like saying who can tell the difference of a DVD movie and Blu-ray or HD-DVD movie. I don't care for football myself but if you do and you own a nice theater setup with a big @$$ HDTV then I am sure deep down inside you are wishing EA would have done the PS3 justest. What do you do now? Well if you have a good job, then you should have the money to pick up a Xbox 360. You will be glad you did, especially with the lineup of games coming out.

I would definitely play it on the Xbox 360 first and for most since there will be achievements to be had. Achievements make any game worth playing and from a good game you just get more out of it, more bang for your buck. Only someone with an Xbox 360 can attest.

They found the problem, there fixing it and their standing by there customers giving them a 3 year warranty and they will get past this, making there numbers next year. crazy not to pick up a 360 this year with all the AAA games on the way especially if there is a price drop. I just wish the games where here already!!!

is M$ did pretty good holding off from a price drop for almost 2 years unlike the PofS3 that had to have a fire sale just 8 months out of the gate. It goes to show who's got game this gen. I really didn't see a price drop coming until Nov. but if they do $50 now and $50 then, that's a good move on there part.

FYI: For those going to pick up a 360 once there is a price drop, I suggest Costco or Costco.com since they offer a lifetime warranty on most stuff and the 360 is covered...
