compared to the PSP version, I guess that's because it's multiplayer maybe? It looks like it might be fun, the PSP version was for those in between hardcore gaming moments and the kids like it.

Most of the sales of the PS3s where not to gamers, they where people looking for a cheaper Blu-Ray player, that is why their game sales are much lower then expected. Do you think gamers would get a console with no games out? No way, only a few diehards. Now that the price has dropped and there are a few games coming out the sales will spike but I don't see them making there numbers unless they have another price drop sometime in Nov. I would guess.
Maybe next gen, the next gen PS3.5 will take over this gens Xbox 360
how much the PS2 sales are hurting the PS3 sales? Could Sony be off thin ice right about now if they had stopped making games for the PS2 so the sells would drop for the PS2 and move to the PS3? I guess will never know. The PS2 is selling really well still, they should just sell the PS3 as a Blu-Ray player and stick to making games for the PS2.
