Thanks for posting that. I thought the trailer was really good and I'm looking forward to the game.
As the person above me said, most of the people who are bashing this probably only got into the series with CoD4 and don't know the history of the earlier games. ;)
Is this still coming for the PS3 though? There was no PS3 logo at the end of the trailer.
All of it is overpriced. Free maps and models used to be a way for developers and publishers to thank people for buying their games.
Now DLC's just another way for them to grab you by the ankles, hold you upside down, and shake you until every last nickel falls from your pockets.
But at the same time you can't blame the publishers: people keep buying DLC in mass quantities, so why should they stop charging for it?
Edit: I can see why they would charge f...
I'm sure the game is good, but is N4G going to link to every single no-name site and blog that reviews it?
Apparently all the shots they've shown so far from been from the PS2 version. ;)
This guy has bad-mouthed Forza 2 in the past too; not sure why, unless he's a bitter former employee. ;)
Some of you folks need to learn to recognize satire when you see it. ;)
The best way to pass the time during MGS4's cutscenes: send an angry, poorly-spelled email to gaming websites that say the game has too many long cutscenes, because they obviously don't "get" or "understand" Uncle Hideo's genius.
Psi-Ops was a pretty fun game; too bad Zoo Digital (the publisher) did such a poor job marketing the PC version.
Where are the Blizzard games? The opening to StarCraft: Brood War is classic.
What's a Game Lemon?
Stop taking this no-name, hungry-for-hits blogger so seriously.
"(Insert popular game franchise here) sucks/is overrated" articles are lazy opinion pieces designed solely to get page hits.
How can this guy take himself seriously when he doesn't even know that there were FPS games with vehicles prior to Unreal Tournament, which by the way, didn't even have vehicles.
"he was actually against big budget games like getaway and 8 days"
Incorrect. Harrison was a fan of Eight Days when he was at Sony; he was one of the few bigwigs at the company who thought the game had potential.
When he left, the game lost its biggest supporter.
If Heavy Rain is as "good" as Indigo Prophecy, they can keep it.
NFS: Carbon and ProStreet overrated? The reviews and player impressions of both games weren't that great; most gamers and reviewers considered them to be the weakest in the series in quite a while.
There are much more obvious - and deserving - overrated titles than those two.
Friends don't let friends listen to John Mayer.
Wouldn't it have been easier to just say "All of them" and leave it at that?
5GB install? What a hardship.
You guys better hope Age of Conan never comes to the PS3. ;)
Where's Blade of Darkness?
Audiosurf and Trials 2 are great value for the money.
These games aren't "On hold." They're cancelled. Hoping they're magically going to go back into production someday is just wishful thinking.
The company is just using PR-speak to keep their shareholders from panicking, which is why they didn't use the "C" word.
Talking about Eight Days and Getaway 3, of course. This Red Alert 3 story is just a rumor right now.
Anyone who thinks these games are merely "on hold" and will be finished later is kidding themselves.
Turok "shipped" one million copies, but it didn't sell nearly that many.
I hope we get to bake cookies in this one too!
