While I agree with some things the author said, I definitely disagree with this statement: "Aside from the Frostbite 2 engine on Battlefield 3 chances are it's going to play exactly the same as every other game in the franchise." Happens to me ALL the time in BC2. Here's the scenario: You kill a guy, there was an enemy medic nearby that sprints to revive him. The medic revives his teammate, you kill the medic and you start shooting at the enemy that just got revived. The guy that got revived is invincible for like two seconds, just enough time to kill you.
It was very annoying and I'm glad they fixed it.

I agree with you that DICE did bring it on themselves, but there are people want the PS3 version to look just as good as the PC and I'm just confused by that in every way. A five-year-old console compared to upgradable at any time personal computer? Which do you think is going to look better?
I'm actually looking forward to the sound of BF3. DICE has always been #1 for sound design.
It doesn't bother me one bit that the majority of new Xbox 360 games are getting Kinect added to them. I have Kinect and I'll probably try it out just to see what it's like. What I'm worried about is that parts of the game will suffer or unnecessary resources will be spent on implementing Kinect. If it doesn't damage the end product, I'm all for it.
For someone that doesn't care, that isn't interested and not buying it, you obviously cared enough to comment on a story about it.
