I'm purchasing BF3 for the PC, but I'm also renting MW3 for the single player. Each game gives you a different experience. Just because I prefer BF3 to MW3 doesn't mean I'm going to miss out on other games. Granted, MW3 looks very similar to previous CoD entries, but I love the single player portion.
Meh, I pre-ordered a physical copy from EB Games so this really doesn't affect me. I don't really have a problem with Origin like other people, however, I do understand why some do. What I don't understand is some people are just not getting this game altogether because it's not available on Steam.
Kinda like the whole 'hats' phenomenon in TF2. Basically people are saying "Look at me! I'm different!".

That doesn't stop Gamestop from re-selling games. A perfect example is when the Motorstorm bundle came out a few years ago. A lot of the used copies of Motorstorm had 'Product Not Available For Re-Sale" on the back. Even I traded in my copy I got with my 80 GB Phat PS3 and they took it no problem.
Four should be good. I have two friends that are also in the beta, one has four, the other has eight and they both say it plays smoothly. If you're like me though and have 16 GB of RAM, it's VERY smooth. :P

So excited to get this on the PC. I played a little once and loved it.
^^ THIS. I just dropped around $1600 on a brand new computer so I could play all of my games (including BF3) with everything on high. I also do HD video editing and GIS mapping on it to so that's why the price is a little high.
Um, what? How is this a gimmick? It allows you to record your gameplay! There's been countless times where I wish I could have recored a kill streak or a sweet moment while playing BC2 (I played on consoles). I'm sure the demand for this feature is quite high and I'm sure it's not too hard to implement.

Not at all. It's all dependent on your specs. I read somewhere some guy put it all down to the lowest it could go and got 510 fps.
I think I read somewhere around two million people signed up for the Elite beta, so I would say that's highly anticipated.
You can't buy a physical copy?
I would assume it would be since it was in BC2. Wouldn't make much sense to remove it.
This game keeps getting better and better. I want it to be October 25th!

Some people love to hate on TF2 because of the whole "dress up" aspect, but it doesn't bother me. I have a blast when I play with my friends, and that's what games are for.
Graphics are A LOT better too.
