I like the system for what it is and am picking one up even if it somehow turns out 'inferior'.

Deep down I may end up a little disappointed if graphics aren't on par but then again I'll be too busy playing games to really care. To be honest I feel that way just about every time I start up my 360/PS3 today compared to my PC and doubt that will change come One/PS4 either. New hardware may narrow the gap but in long run the enjoyment new consoles and their gam...

Some of Batman's flow is bit too exaggerated at times (or downright fake when at its worst) but the combat was still fun. Its probably the reason for disagrees.

Sleeping Dogs was much less exaggerated but it also lacked some of the flair because of it (but still awesome). Ryse like SD though still has plenty of Battittude (yes I went there) in its combat but with more 300 thrown into the mix.

I think all were somewhat inspired by Assassin's Creed co...

Crytek has multiple studios, they could do both.

I like their games but a new TS would be fantastic though--add in mod support and even a basic level creator and would be phenomenal.

I doubt Open World. Halo has always been a mix of cooridor and small scale open areas and doubt that will change completely.

I wouldn't be too surprised if 1080p 60fps though in part because Halo looks good but gameplay, coop, etc always has been what carried it and not as heavy of focus on "pure" graphics. I still think it will look good but more Destiny than Killzone graphically (as a good next gen FPS example plus comparisons with Destiny are likely most fi...

I'm getting both but know not all have the chance or even the desire.

The two consoles to me are likely to turn out much like they did this gen: one is a sprinter and one runs marathons. Both have their strengths and weaknesses but both are also good at what they do. I'm not digging at either console though as quality wise there have been some from day one till end game that are worth it. Truth is they compliment each other well as when one lags behind the other i...

I can't decide on what to play first though :(

For as little as we know about it, this looks fantastic.

If I had to guess though this is basically PS's answer to Gears of War. I'm not saying it will play anything alike but I'm assuming more TPS than Action Adventure than say Uncharted. Going by early impressions anyways I think fans of Gears (campaign at least and in particular darker story/setting of original Gears) could enjoy it. If I'm right I will only be that more excited for it.

Hair (be it head, facial, etc) has needed an upgrade for a while. Some games can still get away with it but most of the time still looked like plastic costume makeup especially compared to rest of the character's overall appearance.

Not a big surprise really. Killzone is the safer choice as well as being a shooter. I'm not knocking it as will be one of the first games I play but just the truth.

I'm looking forward to most next gen titles though and which one I'm most excited about varies day by day. My biggest problem come launch is deciding what I play first and who sold more isn't the basis for my decision.

Preorders aren't too bad really though given that new co...

Its Ancient Rome--I would almost be disappointed if there wasn't. It probably won't be near as bad as we assume but depends on how "authentic" they want to go.

Total opposite of how it actually works out :(

Especially number 3.

As much as I love Bethesda games I'm doubtful it will be quite up to snuff compared to some next gen games (pre mods).

Their games typically look good but with everything else they push in their games they have to cut back a lot more too. I am hoping though they push PC a bit more than they did with Fallout/ES as we got some boosts but not that substantial till modders got a hold of it.

Granted I still expect a great looking game (Fallout first most like...

Probably physics when Knack grows, explodes, etc that makes for inconsistent fps.

I don't agree about it looking bad though. I like the way it looks although agree it at times lacks flair (Ratchet for example does it better IMO). Its just way it's designed though as Ratchet has always been a little flashy.

Knack ATM though doesn't look quite as good (ignoring basic poly/res/etc which next gen allows) but still looking forward to it. I'm cur...

Still had a noticeable difference but more subtle than PC.

I'll probably pass on next gen version but only because my PC is more powerful. Even then not a priority really as I can pick up console exclusives first and probably pick up AC4 33-50% off when I'm finally done with them. I love PC but exclusives of any sort (PC included) usually trumps multiplatform for me given same release window.

I'm just glad AC4 is shaping up nicely and hopefully ...

My thoughts exactly.

I still enjoy their games--maybe that's just me though.

Its just I enjoy them for different reasons than the original PC titles.

4564d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

One of my most anticipated titles actually.

I wouldn't put it up there with most First Party/Exclusive games but definitely one of my top multiplatform games atm. I love open world games and DI for all its flaws had its strengths which DL seems to be building on while improving some of its weaknesses.

As long as its fun though I'll be happy.

The expectation is waranted but with WD delay and what is arguably a better setting the new AC could surprise us.

The whole idea of taking to the high seas and exploring multiple islands intrigues me more than seeing early America with a twist (I am American for reference). I didn't have anything against it really and even with some improvements wasn't my favorite (liked many improvements though including better wilderness).

AC4 though still looks &q...

I'm still not upgrading again till 800-900 series but would be cool for people that want to. I don't really see it being a major announcement but maybe an offhand to go with big one.

Still curious though.

Didn't Nvidia and Ubisoft just make a $5m deal recently? With Watchdogs delay could be making a WD bundle next year. I doubt that is the announcement but be cool ;). I often pick up new cards with a game or 2 attached. Unrelated really but ex...

For those that miss the reference... too bad for you.
