That's the thing. Was Banjo on the N64 "HARDCORE BIATCH!"? Rare could be doing better than Avatars and Kinect cash-ins. Buy an indie dev studio Microsoft, and have them do Avatars. Let Rare do whatever they please.

The Wii was designed back in 2004. Back then the processors were bigger and slower. Hotter and more power hungry. These new devices are just using currently existing tech. Sure, Nintendo didn't go with the best the time period had to offer, but it still used good tech.
