When I look at comments, I start to realise how much FFXIII has impacted the fanbase. To the point of already writing off the upcoming game. Is it because everyone was traumatised by XIII and its sequels, or because the game isn't turn-based?
Anyhow, just drop the prejudices, and have an open mind. This game isn't XIII, not even remotely and ,thank God, it will never be.

Every 2-3 months new content is added with a big patch. Right now we're at Patch 2.5 part 1, and at the end of this month part 2.

Indeed, Wow takes longer to get to the endgame... Not surprising since they have double the lvl's. And then that's where the problem starts. "Has new content every so often" This is an understatement. Wow suffers from content droughts. FFXIV brings a major content update every 2-3 months. You don't need to worry about the length. I choose to believe it was their crazy way of saying "We're gonna have a lot of content. Please be excited!". Because it was also stated that they WANTED to reduce the content, but that they were simply failing to do so because they just keep adding more and more. ;)
