Because, on the technical aspect, 6 of those years were mostly lost due to switching platforms.
Building a completely new engine from the ground up for their most ambitious project so far is not something you should take lightly.
The fact that 90% of their exclusives don't appeal to me?
@Monolith
Shows what you know. It's quite the opposite really.
We're socialized european union loudmouths that really have no unity.
Sooooo...
PS Viper vs Xbox Scorpio confirmed?
I see everyone talking about the power, but people rarely stop to think about the price.
It's not the same. After all, From Software knows when to stop.
Rookie has a point here.
I don't know about you guys, but I don't like the way this is going...
I mean, what's next? A new upgraded console every year? (I know it's an exaggeration, but still...)
Regardless of my console preference, the metacritic userscore is the definition of a cesspool.
In their genre? Sure thing.
Madness...?
THIS! IS! THE! INTERNET!!!
Welcome to the club!
Glad to see you're interested in the game!
Do try to ignore KentBenMei. He doesn't represent our fanbase. (Actually nobody does, cause it's the most divided fanbase in existence... Oh well, enjoy your stay)

MW2 was my favorite by far.
And you didn't miss a thing.
More fans = more fanboys = more whining.
This type of shit happens everywhere unfortunately.
Though I must admit that this situation is quite exceptional.
The only reason this nonsense got as much exposure as it did was due to the misconception that it was satire and thus that the review didn't belong on metacritic...
Chances are if said misconception didn't exist in the first place, this would've died down alread...
It's all good as long as we're satisfied, no?
