The military segments shown in the gameplay kind of threw me off.
I was expecting a more thriller like approach.
I really do not see why this title gets such hype, from the gameplay shown at E3 is still looked like the glitchy, buggy unpolished mess that the mod was.
The buggy Arma 2 engine with geometry glitches galore and the completely out of wack animations.
DayZ is a great concept but it needs some serious polish.
Never cared for them as a retailer, pittance trade in values and inflated prices.
It however is a fitting anti consumer alliance.
he sounds the same as jack bauer which is a put on gravelly american voice.
So yeah he sounds generic and seems to completely lack any sort of range.
That is exactly it, we owe them nothing and it is up to them to sell us the best possible product.
I don't care who sells it, I care about who has the better product and which has the best and most fun gaming library.
@devwan
And that is why I hate sports in general and just because it happens in one area does not validate it in another.
Well there is a fundamental difference here, Sports are a competition through and th...
Have to agree with gamerlive, kiefer sounds really generic american to me with his voice acting.
David hayter had a certain charm to his voice.
Still buying the game either way
"Grouping around corporate entities and kind of raging on on their behalf without ever receiving a pay check"
This is exactly what I have always wondered about fanboys, why do they champion a corporation that does not give a damn about them or pay them.
It is illogical and nonsensical to do such a thing.
But then again humans whether we like it or not love arguing or fighting over something, human beings love competition and anything ...
It looks pretty interesting, shame it is under Microsoft's banner
I stopped because I felt like I was getting short changed so I just started waiting until the game went down in price or relying on steam sales.
I agree, nothing about it looked mind blowing or particularly innovative.
Well from what I have seen I just seen two guys run through a linear scripted area making bad jokes fighting against enemies very similar to those from Halo.
Yeah sure enough, just had a look at the UK marketplace on Ebay and the prices are shafted pretty high but only by £100 or so.
There is nothing ridiculous like this on there though.....
If it is true would it really hurt that much to wait an extra month or so?
I think they should start focusing on the MP alone and just leave the single player.
It will more than likely be a forgettable linear restricted experience with the typical "echo tango bravo" jargon and the press B to air-strike the chinese.
I want to go back to previous battlefields were there are multiple allied factions with their faction specific vehicles and multiple axis factions etc
basically I want BF to go back to having m...
It just has no games that I would really want to play that look good, either that or I have not heard of them.
The DS games just seem more fun and well Sony thought it could win through graphics power alone, not the case!
Just needs some killer apps and it will sell.
that's because it has been confirmed that there is weapon attachments in the game!
I look forward to tricking out a glock
Well we will be well into the first year of the new generation of consoles so it is to be expected.
Then don't make silly uninformed comments about a platform you barely know anything about.
If this game lives up to everything it is promising it will be immaculate
Series has just got far worse since chaos theory
Battlefield was a multiplayer only title to begin with and it should have stayed that way.
This is the opposite of the spectrum were single player is tacked on instead of multiplayer.
Oh yeah I completely agree, when night sets in and you cannot see anything it is very suspenseful, never had anything like that since I played stalker.
Just if it could get some polish, I'm thinking they should have waited and used the arma III engine, it seems much better.
