It wasn't as strong as previous sales because the games on offer were either already on sale multiple times and there hasn't been any real good games released that could have been featured in the sale.
The game is really unoptimised on PC so if this is 60fps @ 1080p that is pretty damn impressive.
I wonder if by max they mean the high settings available or if they mean full ultra which you can enable with an ini file tweak.
But It also has its gameplay problems like trying to find a decent fight where you are supported enough to continue the fight if you die.

Games made for limited tech will never be ported well, just because they share the architecture will not mean every dev will go the extra mile to include all the features and options a typical PC game has.
The combat like I have said before is just does not look deep enough or even challenging.
Yes they are going for a casual market but for me as someone who likes challenging gameplay mechanics and techniques to learn this really does not look gripping at all.
Just looks like the average weekend run through simple cinematic campaign game.
I really liked how there were battles going on between other factions, really adds to the world.
The whale jumping out of the water also looked awesome, The storm part was just awesome.
I really like all the immersive features the game has and the depth to even travelling around the world is awesome. The changes from on ship to on foot gameplay are also impressive and allow for player experimentation.

I'm not really buying into the whole advancement of graphics thing alone with these new consoles.
I really want to see gameplay advance as well, I would love to see the scope and interactivity of games increase to a new level.
ryse, & killer instinct don't seem to be doing anything particularly new in the gameplay department in terms of scope or interactivity. Does not by any means make them bad games, just I'm hoping for something more.
I always hated timed gameplay and I always will, just hate the feeling of being rushed.
they could easily just update the game through patches if they really wanted to but people keep buying it year after year so they won't.
