See the thing is, Starfield sold decent at first, but it had much higher expectations which is absolutely did not live up to. Starfield sold a bunch of pre-orders then completely died sales wise.

I don't know a lot about that game but I have played Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, they have a new game coming too Zenless Zone Zero, looks pretty good. It hasn't been announced for PlayStation yet, but given the success of Genshin and Star Rail on PlayStation it seems likely it'll be on PS5 after it's full release.
This company also makes Goddess Of Victory: Nikke, so that's probably coming to PS5 as well.

Late reply I know, but the PS5 Pro doesn't even need new versions, all it needs is for games to have an unlocked framerate and use dynamic resolution scaling just by the nature of it being more powerful it'll have higher resolutions and better framerates.
But like you implied, It's way easier to exploit more power, than to squeeze a game onto a weaker console.

First, It was to have disks have cd keys that tied them to your account thus preventing resale or even trading games to your friends and revoking any type of ownership. It also would have allowed Microsoft to take the games away at any time be it suspension or a new version of the game comes out and they don't want to let you play the game you already owned on a disk.

To be fair, the portal has been ahead of the xbox on several Amazon versions as well, It's quite possible that it's outselling it in many regions maybe even WW.
This system benefits the consumer, this is why consoles and phones ect. can be sold for at cost or even for less than the cost to manufacture, try to buy a PC that rivals a console see how much it costs when it's not subsidized by sales on a marketplace.

Let them rush into the next gen, PS5 is getting a Pro console so it's not like they will be able to achieve a huge advantage and the One X was 40% more powerful and they couldn't even win it's launch month. I personally think rushing a console for them is more likely to have a negative effect as any real benefit, I mean SX is significantly underperforming the xbone...

This is pretty misleading, these numbers are not significantly lower than other points in the games history. It's an ebb and flow, it peaks after a new expansion then ebbs until the next expansion.
This is how all live service games work.
And let's be fair as was pointed out, it's still doing a lot better than Microsoft's games.
