Ain't that most of the crap nowadays, bloated out with pointless quests, missions. Just so you think your getting more for your money. And once completed never played again!! What happened to short quality titles with style over substance. Quality over quantity. Replayability !! I'm still playing games from the 80s and 90s because they have that go back to again and again quality.
Let's be honest this gen has stalled thanks to Covid so hopefully it will last longer. We still haven't seen the full potential yet. Still in cross gen doesn't help.
Totally agree, Last resort 2, Alpha mission 3, Prehistoric Isle 3, Magician Lord 2, Sengoku 4. Pulstar 2. That's my wish list. All done with proper pixel art. Made with care and passion like Andros dunos 2.

Visual feasts like Motorstorm, Uncharted, Ratchet, The last of us, Resistance, Killzone. God of war 3, Set the industry standard that followed on through to the ps4 and now ps5. The ps3 was an incredible bit of kit, let down by lazy devs who didn't want to get right down to the metal of the system. Instead took the easy way out with the 360.
