Anything open world sucks!! Its the same shit. The market is over saturated with it. Much like the FPS. The industry needs to get Its shit together. And cater for different genres.

Emulation is great I have plenty. And yes I know it's for preservation. But you still can't beat playing on the original hardware when you can. Some idiots don't understand that, had this argument with the PC master race on Facebook regarding ps3. Getting excited about resolution, framerate. I'm a collector of retro games and the hardware so Emulation is not the be all and end all.
The majority of shit that gets stellar reviews feels outdated. Or basically just more of same over and over. Open world, crafting, side quests, roguelite, Metroidvania, for God's sake someone break the fucking mould. Basically the ideas have all dried up.
Can't really mess up a practically perfect game, just refine it even more.
