Fortnite didn't create BR or TPS, neither did Apex Legends create FPS or Legends. But that pinging is the first I've ever seen. And Fornite adding it just now? Yeah, it's stolen. And rumors of respawns, similar to Apex Legends? Dude, it's blatant catching up and stealing. Look how quick they're adding mechanics like that, didn't see the game evolving that quick until some competition showed up. But they're just ripping off mechanics. Pathetic
Hey man, those games are kinda fun, I heard..
Unless you're the type that would call spending hours a day on a video game instead of using that time to be productive, a waste of time, then it is. I think spending hours on mindless repetitive non-challenging grinding is more a waste of time than say, playing a challenging puzzle game, or a tactical RPG, or a fast paced competitive shooter. If it makes you happy it's not a waste of time? Then nothing is a waste of time, because we spend our lives trying to be happy.
You seem like you'd be a real piece of shit in real life, the type of person that does things that normal considerate people wouldn't, because it's "not your problem".
Because Epic "borrows" everything and is making billions off Fortnite.
Going to have to accept that it's the new genre/mode craze. How is it hurting you? people are bandwagoning on the hate because it's too mainstream. right now, and i emphasize STREAM. Too much popular culture in BR right now. That's why most people are hating on it, but it is actual good for the gaming industry. Get over it.
Ahhh. Wow. Haven't tried that, still not intuitive enough, but glad they have it
It's sooo damn useful that I am literally astonished it hasn't been in any game that I can recall. I wish they could patent it and sell to other BR/MP games. And the people who thought of it, should get a damn raise. Although, I still think Apex Legends need an "need X ammo" ping, and some default voiced msgs. But overall, it's my favorite BR.
Sometimes I just think of my backlog and decide I can't play anything because I can't decide on what to play because my backlog is so big.
Go back to Fornite, you wan't win, Mustard!
So PS1/PS2 games are a huge factor for moving on to a PS5, even though PS4 doesn't support them? Get the fuck out of here with that. Move on. Is it a PLUS, sure, but is it going to sell 50% or even 10% more consoles. Fuck no. If it doesn't support PS4 games, well that is another story, and I have high hopes that it will support 100% of the PS4 library, but it will be pretty major blow to sales if it doesn't or at least, it could sell a lot better if it does. And I think it will....
Do not pay $60 thinking you're going to have a lot of fun exploring, this isn't the type of game. Shoot you can pay 3-4 bucks (on sale) for "Valley" and have a good experience. $60, for exploration? Yeah, no, just rent it Anthem if just for exploration. It's also not worth $60 as a whole. But I paid $15 for Destiny 2 and was mehh, but love Halo. So, it might just be me.
It is open world, but it isn't as vast as you think, movement is constrained.
Because it's on PS4?
Well, it would be a big waste of money if you're only interested in that. That was not how the game was designed. You saw hovering mech suits and assumed you can explore a VAST OPEN WORLD? lol
Oh like they'll sell "PS4 classics" and not support the PS4 discs? I doubt that would happen.
That's all it would take? Have you heard of emulation, or just popping in the disc on an actual PS1? You're telling my that being able to play PS1 games, the ones you personally hold nolstalgically... that's what would make you stay indoors? I know you might be exaggerating, or maybe trying to get upvotes for common interest.. But there have been easier methods of playing those games since the PS1. But if PS5 can play it, quit outside world? Great logic.
Yes, unless you have never owned those other consoles, it is bad. Because Nintendo will definitely price it over those versions. Ohhh, but it's portable !!! if you truly wanted to play those games, that wouldn't matter, though. So yes, it is bad.
I doubt PS1/PS2 emulation is a major buying factor for people buying a PS5. I mean at that point it's like, dude get a damn PS2/PS1 for like $30 or just emulate on a PC. Sony could have added that at launch, but they still bought a damn PS4. Want your digital PS1/ PS2 library, get a PSP/Vita(PS1) or PS2(PS1/PS2) for way cheaper than a PS5. Want PS4 games, stick with PS4. If you want PS5 games though, get a PS5. If you plan to turn in or sell your PS4 for a PS5, and PS5 supports PS4 games...
RDR2 is better in PVP modes than the original. Thought, I think Rockstars online modes have have always been way behind the likes of competition. Not being able to continuously play a mode/map, no server browser? GTFOH.. No Passive mode also sucks. It does seem that RDR2 Online has less content than the original, even initially.
