Blu-Ray has proved that its needed for this generation, MGS4 wouldnt be so good if it wasnt for the high capacity blu-ray disc. Even the Rockstart guy said, there might not be GTA 5 for XBOX 360 because of low capacity DVD disc, and one more thing, this generation has just started for PS3 ;). Maybe its over for XBOX 360 and you wont see anything better coming out, but you can look forward for the best titles..s...
It is true about the PS3 GPU.. When there is a lot of police chasing you in GTA IV , or around you.. the game starts to lagg. The same thing happens when you enter an area in COD4 where someone threw a smoke granade..
But then one developer said that the 360 does hold back the best looking games, because most developers , develop the game onto 360 and PS3, and the same day of release. If there was no 360, we would see much better games, with amazing graphics coming to the PS3. ...

I dont think so, I own both consoles and soon I will just be playing 360 . Why ? Because i cant be f***** bothered anymore to quit my game in order to read messages. In terms of firmware , PS3 feels like downgrade.
XBOX 360 has much better firmware installed on it than PS3.
