The only good looking (in a graphical way) game that is launching this year is Gears of War 2. The only good thing about it is the graphics (but lately, the comparison screenshots or the video, looked like GoW1 was better looking). Maybe I will buy Gears of War 2, if it does look better than GoW1 ;)
The company that is developing Killzone 2 sure knows how to spends its money.. Its not always about throwing billions onto 1 title and thinking it will be the best. Its about using the money in a smart way, pay the least and get the most out of it ;) . You can see that you dont have to pay billions to get a game as good looking as killzone 2 ;)

* Maximum (optimistic case) polygon count: 800 million and more depending on how many triangle strips are used in a game.

The only platform that would lose on this deal is Nintendo. Probably most of the Nintendo users are kids, kids like the kind of SEGA Rally , Sonic graphics. Me and my friend both have 360s, everyone was hyping about the Halo 3 , that he went to a shop and bought it, when he played it, he said it was really sh1t. Because it is.. its unrealistic, and everyone prefers to stick to a game thats in modern days.
