Looks like Sony took the shortcut with PS4.Even 360 didn't break like this at launch,it took about 2 weeks for first mass complaints.Most of the units lasted a year or so...I was there,meh

Bottleneck is somewhere else,not in GPU power.
PS4 has like 40% more powerful GPU but 1080p requires 225% more gpu power than 720p(same pixel quality).Not to mention that higher rez is taxing CPU too.
Could be that the IW engine doesn't really like XO architecture and there was simply not enough time to tailor the engine around XO architecture(ESRAM).It happens...
Btw,360 also has like 10% of GPU allocated.

Actually,DRM is back.
There was no disc DRM,initially.There was only server based DRM.
After 180,MS had to return to disc based DRM.More work for already overloaded OS/system design teams.
