Was this game any good on PC? I have heard of it, but not heard any one actually get a chance to play it. Might give it a look, but right now got plenty action going on Titanfall, WatchDogs, BF4, Forza, need to still finish Ryse lol
I have it reserved on the PS4 mainly due to the extra content, and I don't think the visual fidelity will be noticeable on X1. I have MGSGZ on both and sitting from my couch on a 70" I can't tell the dang difference, so same probably applies here. As for the downgrade it happens all the times during dev and the hardware and code is more finalized not sure why people always get so up in arms. This has been happening since gaming began.
I was open minded for giving this guy a try, but to me his performance just felt flat. It may have to do with my being more of a fan of the work David has done, but I could not get into GZ and never bother playing past the first 20 minutes of intro and little bit of game play. I will give it another shot later on, but it just did not sit well with me.

Well the RMA department is broken at Sony, my PS4 broke down on March 7th, and I did not get my box to return until April 14th. I kept calling, and they kept re-sending. It turned out their call center did not cross over. Then I finally sent in my PS4 and they returned it, and when I asked why they said it was in error. Long story short my PS4 replacement just got in today, and it took nearly two months. I would like to say this is not of the norm, but never the less no one from Sony did anyt...

I just got my tacking number for my 4k display monitor from Samsung this should be fun come one project cars.
I am running Tri SLi right now of eVga 780 Classy and I am having to put them under water, as they are getting to loud. Also, gpu boost it throttling crazy due to heat.
With 2 cards 4k should be able to get 60fps. Remember racing games always were easier on the hardware then lets say BF a shooter.
I can't wait for this game on my PC, as I will be playing it with a G27 wheel and my NVidia surround should be a blast. I always wished the GT series from playstation had a PC port, and lets hope project cars lives up to the hype. Yay.
At 1080p your looking at a mix of medium or high settings with the new beta drivers. That is if your steam machine is running Windows as the OS, and I am not sure if the Linux driver gained the same performance boost.
750ti is a beast of a overclocker on air we got my friends office PC to 1385mhz core w/boost.
Not sure if you read the article, but apparently NVidia and AMD are having yield issues with the new nm builds, and both manufactures are pushing back their products to Q2, 2015.
Also, it seems that the GTX 880 would be a mid range card marketed like the 680 as top tier card. What I did is went it Tri SLI config of 780's. Tomorrow I get the rest of my watercooling loop components.
Unless you can wait that long sure do it, as I am sure it will be worth it...

FF12 is one of my favorite modern FF games, and I would buy it in a heart beat. Only reason I got FFX is to support, so hopefully we see a FF12 re-master.

and a nice 1080p 24' display I think you would have a very solid experience. However, I just typed that up on top of my head id look into the prices if I was you a little bit closely maybe can get into a GTX 770/ or AMD card of same grunt.
@mcstorm think of it this way my friend. If we all agreed the world would be a boring place. Its okay I know that I will enjoy the game on my PC, and who knows might get it for my XboxOne in the living room since there we have a huge 70" Sony tv.

I am sure if you play this on X1 you will have a blast, and it will be the same for people on X1, PS4 etc.

I built my current system for more then just gaming. See the resolution I listed and listed ...
I just got a pair of GTX 780's Classified, and they are a overkill. I game on 3440x11440 its a ultra wide resolution, and still get 100+fps in most games lol.
Yeah, the games really need to pick up their slack and be more demanding.
I still buy games on X1 over PS4 only due to where my gaming community of friends is, and I don't think I am missing out on anything. I love my PS4, but other then Infamous and occasional KillZone I never touch it. I think this fella is fine where he is.
However, I agree with you XboxOne is weaker then the PS4 and games sometimes do not match the quality of the PS4, but sometimes its more then about quality of visual fidelty.
