I love my PC, but to say a video card purchase at the turn of a generation and its going to carry you all the way through is naive at best. Just because a spec sheet matches favorably, doesn't mean the PC hardware is going to age the same.
Not to mention one is open world, and the other is very much not an open world game. It's all launch software, I don't understand why anyone is acting like how the launch software runs is indicative of how all software will behave over the years of the platform.
