Why are we still arguing about whether the Switch is portable? It litteraly is 100% portable . The end. Just because it docks doesn't mean it's a home console.

Portable gaming requires compromises buddy. It is impossible to make a fully portable Xbox one or PS4, but that's what you expect because your thought process isn't rational or logical.
Mortal Kombat on Switch so far looks like a very competent portable version of the game which is only available on Switch.

Portability can give games a new lease of life.
You can still play fortnite on Switch with people on any other platform, they just changed the matchmaking pools. On Switch it auto pairs you with Switch and Mobile , but you can still manually pair up with players on XB, PS, PC.
One can only assume that if Sony was more open to crossplay, then the floodgates would open and the games you mentioned would be more likely to support it.
It's slowly starting to happen with Microsoft , Nintendo and PC. Now Sony needs to be more open and then the developers will follow.

Mario kart 64 was made in the late 90s and that was better in every way than CTR. Mario Kart 8 deluxe is litteraly about 17 times as good, due to the natural progression of gameplay over the last 20 years.
Mario Kart 8d is absolutely flawless for a kart racer. CTR looks crap , that's the difference.

At first I was happy it was coming to Switch, but after watching gameplay videos ,I can clearly see Mario Kart 8 is twice the game so I will pass.
If people think game streaming is going to make Nintendo irrelevant , I've bad news for you. It's going to do the exact same.thing to PlayStation and Xbox.
Sonys IP aren't even a third as popular as Nintendo's , so once hardware is replaced by streaming services, Nintendo will presumably be three times more relevant as a game company. .

Early PS3 games lol... Not even close, the games look somewhere between a PS3 and PS4. Skyrim PS3 is sub 720p whilst Switch version is 1080p with some.of the assets of the current gen remaster.
Hybrid design is the future of handheld gaming, perhaps not all gaming in general. Switch is absolutely brilliant.

I liked it. I'd really like a performance update for the X as the framerate in the batmobile often struggled for me on the OG Xbox. It was like 25fps. Having it in 60fps would make me want to replay the entire game.
It's taken Switch 2 years to dethrone PS4 as the king of exclusives.
