I think you misunderstood Kraenk's comment.
When you see "!=", it means 'does not equal". You usually see this in programming languages, I think I remember seeing it first when I was learning java.

OT: I really can't imagine myself playing persona on 3ds. I loved P4G and P3P on my vita and I just can't fathom it on the 3ds. I'm currently enjoying SMT IV but sometimes I wish it was on a vita instead.
