i'm sure its the same footage.
still looks awesome though.
I have to argee, Sony need to bring out more stuff each week, in particular, game demos.
they've almost got PSN on par with Xboxlive, they just need to have a similar amount of content added each week, and it'll be there.
maybe they are waiting for Home, perhaps thats why there's no real rush to keep the current PSN fully loaded with stuff?
Well, as IGN's Hilary Goldstien said in one podcast:
"Forza 2 Sucks".
he's now head of the xbox360 team.
no, PSN gets Q*Bert.
for some reason i thought it would be a good purchase. ...ah nuts.
Microsoft are so ridiculous, why do they want them both to fail?
i think it comes down to Microsoft always playing things safe, and sticking to what they know.
I think they worry too much when thinking of pushing new technology.
even the 360 stuck with the DVD drive, (the safe thing to do). i still don't know why Microsoft don't put HD-DVD's into the Elite or somthing. it'll still be capible of playing their normal DVD games, but will have a good HD player built right in!...
Microsoft (the greediest company on the planet) try to get into anything that seems to be doing well, and their products are always second best.
Ipod was doing well = Microsoft come out with the 'Zune'
Google Earth doing well = Microsoft come out with 'Microsoft Earth'
Games consoles doing well = Microsoft re-package a PC and call it a console.
HDTVs are doing well = Microsoft want some of that CASH!
they are even trying to get into Robotics! can you...
its funny 'cos its true.
excellent link.

Ported, "Downscaled", then released on the 360
The Weather effect looks fantastic! it really does look excellent.
But it seems that they have sacrificed the Car Graphics to achieve that cool weather effect.
so, i'm sorry, But the cars look total crap.
Be honest a Gamecube could give you cars like that.
although i love that in-car view.
I'll beat you with my Wang.
i bought Driver 3 and was great,
it had things like... urm...
well you could... er...
but the impressive thing about it was...
...
argh nuts, it was crap wasn't it.
Yeah, those screens don't really show the upscaling very well at all.
They look like just a blur.
But, i run my PS3 on a 40" HDTV which can hit 1080p, and when i tried it, it looked far better than these useless images.
Actually i was watching a normal DVD on it too, and it looked so nice, it was almost like watching a HD quality movie.
emphasis on the "almost" since you can't expect to get BluRay quality visuals from a normal DVD.
...
...and its not very good.
I actually don't know why its selling so well.
the touchscreens quite good, but thats about it. I thought it was supposed to have long battery life? rubbish! it runs down faster than my PSP, and it doesn't even need to use that battery very heavily, it doesn't spin any discs, or light up a huge screen or play games with good graphics.
i guess the only reason it sells well is because its a kiddy console.
I bought a Pink one for my W...
Microsoft, Microsoft, Microsoft.
When will they actually make something decent thats not just second rate, but pushes technology forward.
even the little Wii is doing something new and cool.
Microsoft seem to feel that sitting back and keeping with the "normal / safe" technology is the best move.
I kept saying, a year down the line and the Wii will go down.
i still hold to that. and now there are many arcticles that back my theory, saying how the novalty will soon wear off.
for example, when everyone gets tired of jumping about playing mini games, they will start pineing for normal games that they can lay down on a couch and play. but that's where the system will fall, because PS3 and 360 are the kings in that area. so the Wii will soon start looking a bit "...
certainly will.
so that recent article about the Ps3 'literally' killing a xbox360 was probably due to this bendy board problem the 360 has trouble with.
i can image the 360 chugging away with its board slowly melting and warping like a Dali painting under "normal" usage, and all it needed was a PS3 sitting nearby to waft a warm breeze in the 360's sweating and straining face, and BOOM! Red Ring
Thats true. but ShadowFlare does have a point.
I have set up two accounts on my machine.
but... We shouldn't NEED to do that! that stuff should be already available on each of the playstation stores.
Or why don't they just make one store that everyone can use, rather than seperate ones for each country (seeming though we can just log in and download stuff from the US or Japanese store, they might as well just make one store for everyone!).
my PSP was allowed into the site. i assume it thought it was a PS3 ,although i doubt the PSP would be able to run any streaming videos. it doesn't quite have the power of a PS3.
perhaps they could make a mini PSP area on it.
