I believe they went with NES-style sprites to save money. This is probably a game made on a shoestring budget. Perhaps if it sells well (which I think it will), they'll do another sequel with higher production values.

Yeah, if you use your powers during battle and don't take on big groups, it's not too tough. Stealth is much tougher, just like you said. The January update promises custom difficulty that'll let people crank up the challenge.

Only Turtle Beach headsets seem to be able to take advantage of it. They might have a deal with Microsoft or something.
It is something people will naturally unlock. But at the start of the game, some players might want to know how and when they'll unlock the feature. The article also attempts to have value by describing the benefits of club membership for players who might be unaware.
Collectible rings should be more of a thing! I have a Flash ring and quite enjoy it. Would love to get one of these as well.
