Yes Xbox One lacks JRPGs, but it gets pretty much all the English-developed ones, as well as action-RPGs like Diablo III, Vikings, etc. and MMORPGs like Neverwinter, Star Trek Online, and Marvel Heroes Omega.
I dunno, I think the actual traversal and exploration is a lot better in the Crackdown series. This one has some cool innovations, though.

The characters are so hideous in this game. But nice to see they've decided to add a shot meter. Also, no punishment for disconnects during online games, even at launch, is *always* unacceptable.

You could also start with II, as it's a bigger and better game with no real story ties to the first.
