Your kidding right? Its a well know fact that Nintendo always make money on their hardware from day 1. If you think it costs Microsoft £129 for Kinect your wrong.
Its what Microsoft will spend on advertising that will cost alot.
Even so, they can afford to sell Kinect at a loss just like Sony and MS did with the PS3 and the 360.
Its called being aggressive.....
If these numbers are pretty accurate then double well done Microsoft.
Kinect is what could change everything, I really think, if Kinect is advertised the right way sales for the 360 could sky rocket.
In the UK the Kinect with the 4gb Arcade 360 is priced at £249.
If they can get that down to £199 in the new year and £149 by September 2011 I cant see how they can go wrong.

Microsoft have sold close to 45 million 360s. They were bought by people who like hardcore games.
Not many have bought them for the kids type and casual games.
Microsoft have great software sales, third party games in most cases sell more on 360.
So I cant see how these 45 million people will all switch to Kinect games.
Kinect is for New customers, people who have never considered the 360 before.

I really like the games I have played and I know my non gamers family are going to luv them. Its something different.

The games I played were all good some especially so. The best thing was, I was really supprised how good it actually was. The games were real fun and best thing of all NO LAG.

I have played a few Kinect games including the raft game, there didnt seem to be any lag when I played it, in fact, after coming on here the last few months and reading all the negative stuff I was really suprised how good it actually was...
But I have played it... Four different games in fact and theres NO lag thats sorted and the games like Kinect Adventures have a lot more to them than we have been shown.
I played it after hours in a gamestation store over two hours aswell...
It made my mind up to buy one...
So come on then, lets find fault with this too....
The reason the processor was removed was because it increased the lag slightly. It was eithier keep it and have graphics as good as the 360 can do or no processor and slightly less great graphics.
Kinect isnt aimed at the graphics fanatic. Its for the casuals.

I have been reading about Kinect for awhile now and two of my friends have played it and I finally got to play it in the UK after hours at a Gamestation store and whatever anyone says. The Lag is definetly sorted. Its really unnoticeable.
Yes there may not be any 1st person shooters but thats not what Kinect is all about. MS already have that covered.
The four games I played were all much much better than I expected, they were great fun and had us all laughing.
