Reflects what N4G has become. Very sad. I don't remember things being like this last year.
So they basically got a bunch of super famous villains just to be flamed. How genius.
I only have one Platinum for inFAMOUS :D
It's amazing how Ocarina of Time is still actively played and discussed, 11 years later. That alone makes it deserve being called the best game ever.
Which begs the question: Super Mario Galaxy 2 or Ocarina of Time? The first is officially the most critically acclaimed game ever, and the latter is the most loved and memorable game ever. Tough choice there..
BRAZIL IS
GOING
TO
WIN THIS SHIT.
That man knows the art of the Falcon Punch.
The 3DS will be everything the DS (and PSP) had plus 3D and unparalleled graphics. In other words, amazing.
Nintendo all the way. Not only because of the experience of watching their conference, but the satisfying feeling that Nintendo is finally caring for their fans again.
Eh, you gotta admit it would be really cool if Sony blew us away with all this... It would be like getting hit by an AK-47.
The perfect deal this generation is a PS3 and a Wii.
I agree with the article, but I also agree that whining won't really bring much at this point. I'm most worried with what will become of the game. With the recent news, i'm kind of afraid of this game having the same "all flash, no substance" fate of Prototype. But still, it's one of my favorite series. Can't wait for the game, might as well deal with the redesign. I'm starting to get used to it already anyway.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is what it is because it's on the Wii, and made by Nintendo. I don't disagree at all that the 360 is a much better console, but this is absolutely ridiculous.
I have to admit, this upped my expectations after seeing that first screen. But I'm still kind of afraid this game suffers the same fate as ProtoType (all flash, no substance). I mean, the powers in the original game were all cool, and most importantly, they were all balanced. I remember using them all constantly, none was left out, and they were programmed in a way that made you feel really powerful but didn't really make the game easy, which was incredible and kept the game interest...
He kinda looks like the dude from Force Unleashed... Or whatever. Hate the whole change they did to him though. But as the article says, I'm sure this won't make the game go downhill.
Sucker Punch wants to make inFamous a big franchise, make it one of their mains next to Sly Cooper. To do that, they have to make Cole a more "marking" character. They think that by transforming into a more, err, wacky character, he will find his way into the industry. Hate the new ideas though. Cole was awesome before.
Fuck. I can't believe it. The best thing about Cole was his mature and serious personality, and badass look. This seriously sounds like a joke, it's just so ridiculous. They changed exactly what made him cool. Now he looks like a freakin' playboy. Ugh. They've just destroyed one of my favorite videogame characters.
People tend to misinterpret the term "family game", somehow relating to "casual" gamers playing it only, and not gamers of any type, as the term suggests. There's a reason why SMG2 is, I dare say, the most critically acclaimed game this generation. I have a PS3 too, so I can get a good idea of what to compare it to, and it's a top-notch title in the middle of all that shovelware Nintendo created. It deserves its score. Having a PS3 and a Wii is the best deal.
I love inFamous, one of my favorite series of all time, but seriously... What the fuck did they just do to Cole?! What's with the gay hair and the playboy look? And those clothes? And how come does he look 10 years younger if the game is supposed to be passed 10 years later? This redesign just makes him look like a crazy random dude running around with super powers. The original Cole looked a lot more like a superhero with his mature/serious tone and that detailed clothes. But heck, I gue...
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is my choice, followed up by God of War 3 and Red Dead Redemption.
