To be honest, you should play it in chronological order on your second playthrough.
The best way first time, is to play in order of release since the story is better experienced that way.

yeah I tried it. It's pretty unique and original. Very different from your average mutliplayer in that you need to a lot of stealth, strategy and quick thinking.

Every fps game has some sort of aim assist anyway. Otherwise aiming would be very hard with an analog stick.
