ha Im thinking of doing the same thing, the beta is less than impressive and might swap the pre-order for Dark Souls however. I want to play this game but not gonna sink money into right away, want to see what the community thinks first.
Bethesda has already addressed the DLC issue, and they will continue to release the huge, Shivering Isle type expansions, and not nickel and dime you to death with equipment packs and shit like that. That's how it should be, you get plenty of time to soak in the original game and then you get to explore something new. Dragon Age II was a pile of garbage in that they intentionally chopped an entire character and his quest line out of the game just to grab an extra 7 dollars from people. ...
I guess people are expecting the finished polished game a month ahead of time. This is an old story though, I thought the guy had put his foot in his mouth again.

That's one of the reasons I keep my mouth shut during a game. In today's tech society anyone can find out who you are and where you live if they really want too. On the flip side some people really need to learn to shut the fuck up during a game. The only reason people talk shit is because they feel safe behind the tv screen, this story proves that isn't always the case.

Greeters are a joke. I've been in many lines waiting to pay and have seen the alarms go off and the greeters do nothing about it. The parking lot policy is true at mine also, once your in the parking lot their isnt a damn thing they can do to you. You have to remember wal-mart doesnt pay their employees much more than minimum wage and not a one of them is going to go GI JOE on someone who they think might be stealing.
These are both great RPG games to enjoy. Why compare the two??? Play one to completion then go out and buy the other one and enjoy to completion!!! That's what I plan on doing.
I'm getting this on PS3, as its the only medium I can play it on. I'll be first to say my version looks like shit compared to maxxed out PC. Seriously, us consoler's will have a fun time but its like being a wingman on a date, you get laid but your buddy takes home the prize.

I'm going to try and go into it totally open-minded. I don't have a preset "class" that I'm interested in I just want to see what equipment I start finding and by using that I'll let my environment shape what I become. I'm sure I'll end up with the ole reliable weapon that I'm skilled at, but I like the kid in a toy store approach where I can find a magic staff or something and use it for a while and satisfy my curiosity without having to re-roll a new ch...

i want to see some heads roll !!!! i dont remember where he said the thieves guild was so Im in the clear on that bit of info. I just hope the death animations don't occur in the middle of fighting multiple enemies, where they can pound on you while your busy slo-mo decapitating someone. As the last enemy falls would be appropriate, although I bet we get an option to turn them off.

a lot of the consumers are a bunch of cry-babies. The guy shouldn't have posted what he did, but bet good money most of the staff at DICE is saying the same things this guy said but worse. Everyone is going to get the entire game at the end of Oct, this is just a free taste. Get the F over yourselves and enjoy it for what it is. Be lucky they even give us this.

Just imagine the rage that would ensue if they have another outage right around the time of BF3 and MW3 release. I tend to think XBOX 360 would have a quick spike in sales.
