I play my Wii U everyday! Unless im out of town or something. I bought it shortly after it came out and have not regreted it and never will because the number of great games for it continues to grow. Games like Bayonetta 2 ,Smash, mario kart, DKCTF, 3D World, X, Hyrule Warriors. All examples of Amazing games that you can only play on the Wii U.

This game is gonna be amazing! If people don't want to buy a Wii U to play it that is their problem; the Wii U is an awesome console and I am glad it is getting amazing exclusives. In this day and age where all games are made in HD anyway the biggest differences between consoles isn't how powerful they are but what exclusives come to that console. And the Wii U is getting plenty of great exclusives this year.
I know that the PS4X1 are getting cool exclusives of their own, but...
Personally I don't find it any harder than DKCR. Except for those K levels. Those are ridiculous. Plus they make it really easy to build up lives.

Those Spawn games were definitely good. And I found the fantastic four game to be fun for a play through. Haven't played some of the games listed in the article. But many of the games listed were actually pretty good. Though I may be the only one that thought so. To each there own.
Your first comment made it seem like you were one of those Nintendoom people that think Nintendo is a failed company that won't release any good games. You have to be careful with the way you word things or people will assume you are completely against whatever the subject is. I understand that gaming is expensive so some people can only get one console, I'm in that boat myself, but I can tell you that you missed quite a few good games on the Wii if those are the only titles you owned...
If you think that you will never find another game on the Wii U that you will play besides Bayonetta 2 then I doubt you game very much. Not saying that is bad, because real life stuff has to come first especially when you have a family to care for, but if that is really what you think then I doubt you are a gamer.

I will take any game from Retro. They are one of Nintendo's best developers and create amazing games. Personally I am hoping for a Metroid game, because I have great memories of the Prime trilogy. But if Retro does a new IP or any other game I will buy it because it will be an amazing game. This year is looking good for the Wii U!
The Wii U is very powerful, but because of the different architecture developers can't simply port games over. That is why many multiplat games aren't on the Wii U. In order to have an extremely good looking game the developers would have to build from the ground up for the Wii U. It is possible for Wii U games to look very similar graphically to X1 and PS4 if done for the Wii U instead of a port. If you like platformers you won't be disappointed it is a good game. Not too difficult but it is fun and has a variety in the types of levels. I suggest you get it and enjoy a great game!
True. I always played with my little brother, so while I barely died he wasted basically all the lives we had. But its so much more fun playing coop
I found Returns to be very easy. I only died on the rocket barrel levels and then a couples times on the last world because of mistakes I made. Glad to hear bosses are harder though because they were way too easy. I was hoping the overall difficulty was higher on DKC:TF so that is a little disappointing to hear.
There are a few mistakes in the article. The steel diver is an item that shoots missles not an assist trophy. And marth doesn't attack with a shield he has an attack that breaks shields
Every review I read makes me want this game more. Why can't my wallet have money in it! Gaming is so expensive. Just for knowledge, exactly how hard is this game? Donkey Kong Country Returns hard? Or closer to the original Donkey Kong Country?
This game is good, heck I'll even say it is awesome. But nowhere close to best platformer ever. It isn't even the best platformer of it's generation. Mario 3D World is better DKC:TF is better. Rayman Legends is a fun game. But far from being the best platformer.
they should announce a Metroid game at e3 and then promise it is the first in a trilogy! The number of people that would buy a Wii U and/or preorder the game would be huge!
A new Metroid game would be awesome! I would pre-order that as soon as it was announced. The Wii U was designed perfectly for an awesome Metroid game. Make a Prime 4 or even a whole new trilogy. As long as it is a Metroid game I will buy it! Retro please be making a Metroid game
IMO there are enough Mario characters as it is. I'd rather him not be playable and have someone from a different franchise!
Well I hope that by the end of this year you are able to save enough money to get a Wii U. With the games that already announced plus whatever happens at e3 the Wii U will be a console full of great games. This year in general is a great year to be a gamer. Whether you have a PS4, X1, Wii U or a combination of them.
I ran into the same problem that you have, gaming is EXPENSIVE. So I choose the one I wanted most and got it.

I don't understand people that write stupid articles like this. There are casuals on all systems. There are hardcores on all systems.
