Far Cry 2 MP was decent(and still is) and Far Cry 3 MP seems pretty solid if not better.
Did the author already played Far Cry 3 MP? that´s funny because he doesn't seem like he played it.
I think Bulletstorm MP is pretty good but none played it.

Yeah many of these ideas for open world games were already implemented in the previous gen and the current one already improved them (even if some weren't that impressive as they seem to be).
MGS Ground Zeroes ,for one, is a open world game im very excited about for the simple fact that MGS games always encouraged exploration with plentiful of hidden items to find and eastereggs.

No one never complaint about Soul Reaver games have regenerative health and no game overs they were simply great games nonetheless but since were talking about Tomb Raider and not Soul Reaver i think it should have a "purist mode" (like Hitman Absolution) were featurres medkits.
Taking out the swimming might be a good thing for a change.

Ive not been so excited for a FPS in years! far cry 3 is defnitly my kinda of game with a strong singleplayer and multiplayer component.
