Wow, some of you make me sick. Condoning rape, life imprisonment and burning him at the stake? I'd say the people saying that are more morally wrong then this individual. Sure, he stole from sick kids but chances are he didn't realize. The set laws of theft (ie. 2-10 years) are more than adequate for this type of case. Overall, I just hope some people were joking with their comments.

I've said it a few times but I'll say it again: are games really that much shorter than they used to be? I glance over my collection (PS1/2/3) and see there is only minor differences. Feel free to prove me wrong by citing some examples.

There is nothing quite like gathering around a cramped couch filled with friends; screaming profanity at the television and at each other; mocking the loser of the round as he passes his sweat-laden controller to the next victim; squinting until you eyes start to water from staring at a 15cm box for hours; and having a quick intermission filled with so much fat and sugar it'd make both a dentist and dietitian blush.

If the day ever comes when I can't do that, I will s...

I love how the ESRB rating says "comic mischief"; describes the game so well. And at the beat 'em up level: amazing.

I find it hilarious (but also quite sad) that a game of this visual calibre can implement split-screen yet other shooters and racers can't eg. Bad Company 2, Medal Of Honour, Midnight Club:LA, Burnout Paradise, Need For Speed. Those two genres are arguably the best suited to split-screen and now with Killzone 3 having it, there's just no excuse. The lack of offline multiplayer games this gen is what is driving me to consider picking up mediocre games like Haze or Fairytale Fights so m...

To all the people whinging about how it would ruin the campaign: why does it have to affect it all? Couldn't they just use a generic character for player 2 ala R:FoM? That way, it doesn't have to be explained and subsequently shape the main story. Have some common sense people and don't jump straight into the negatives. Jeez.

To add to Alpha-Male's post:

Imagine if all games were 25+ hours in length. You wouldn't be able to finish them all! Sometimes it's nice to have that bite-sized chunk instead of a full course dinner.

Why all the hate for Prototype? I own Prototype and can tell you that it's equally on par with Infamous overall. Hopefully, if this is indeed a sequel, the graphics can be patched up, add more moves, different city, better story etc. Looking forward to this and Resistance 3's reveal.

Wow. Anti-climatic much? I came here expecting something at least half-decent. Even my ballistic knife kills are better than this.

It's not done by IGN but WatchMojo.com. It says so right at the start of the video. I think IGN is just hosting it.

On topic, this has got to be one of the worst lists I've ever read. "They have employed the use of regenerating health" WAIT, WHAT? THEY HAVE? BY GOLLY, WHAT HAVE THEY BEEN USING IN THE OTHER SIX ITERATIONS? "You also have three battle stances - standing, crouching, prone" Now I've heard everything. Sigh.

They forgot to mention that when exiting the store, one is fare-welled by a message saying "Thank you, come again". :P
In all seriousness though, this is good news to PlayStation consumers in India although I myself only use it to try demos.

Sorry if I offend anyone with my comment as well. It's all meant in good fun.

Yes, thank-you. Someone who actually gets it. If you plan on being overly critical at least apply that criticism to all games, not just to one.

I find it quite hilarious that everyone who has bashed Black Ops for its familiarity (aka copy/paste) is now praising New Vegas which has done the exact same thing. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, (although in New Vegas it is when compared to something like GOW3 which at least had graphical upgrades) I'm just pointing out the level of hypocrisy shown by far too many people here.

I can't get over how crap the font used looks. Hopefully they change it to something more stylized that better suits the time-line/theme of the game.

I'm referring to the games belonging to generations before this one. I agree with Theonik in that it's a common misconception among people.

Additionally, I don't know if it's me or you but I personally completed Arkham Asylum, Resident Evil 4 and Bioshock in well under 10 hours.

I bet Insomniac just said that to GI so that when they use him in R3, it will be a surprise.

I strongly disagree with all of you.

Firstly, co-op. While the co-op in R2 was enjoyable enough it basically boiled down to doing the exact same thing each time. For example, Medic - stand here, aim gun at enemies, heal other players. Spec-Ops - stand here, aim gun at enemies, chuck ammo to other players. Soldier - stand here, aim gun at enemies, deploy shield to protect other players. Rinse and repeat. It could simply not match the intensity and enjoyment of R:FoM's camp...

What games were 15-20 hours long? I'm looking at my collection and can't seem to think of any.

I'm kind of a bit disappointed with the presentation. That is, the way completed challenges look when the appear on screen along with the appearance of the final killcam. It seems bland and uninspired compared to MW2. Here's hoping that at least the font changes in the retail release. Apart from that, everything else looks great.

An eight outta ten equals a rental for you? Jesus, people these days.

Regarding the review, he wants everything unlocked from the start? Where's the fun (or challenge) in that? I don't recall anyone having a problem with unlockables before this generation began. Does everyone need to be spoon-fed from start to finish? It sure seems like it.
