I agree with WhiteNoise, although he didn't have to be such a dick about it.
Hope this means that their current Pacific Roft DLC might go free or, at the very least, receive a reduction. $20 is a tad too pricey. Nonetheless, this is awesome news.
Disappointing...
This game was very intriguing but sadly I don't buy digital downloads. The fact that not much has been seen and a different developer is handling it now isn't that promising either.
Sad face. :'(
Exactly; it seems people are complaining without any real idea of what they're complaining about. The first FPS in awhile to try something different and it seems everyone's going to ignore it. That's a damn shame.
I really don't know what people were expecting from this game. Everything that was in the demo has been shown in previous trailers and videos.
The language adds to its overall character, certainly better than generic military persona number three; the enemies are supposed to be manipulated and experimented with to achieve various skillpoints, hence the lack of AI; and no jump button - would it really add anything if there was one?
Also, can someone expl...
I don't understand all the hate for this title. I thought it was a fun, if not reinvigorating, take on first-person shooters. Solid controls, vivid graphics and sublime gameplay - what more could you want? I know some people might not enjoy the somewhat immature dialogue but I think it helps add personality and character to a genre usually devoid of both. To each their own, I guess.
Also, "Whip/Kick/Shoot, repeat"? Couldn't you apply that same formula to all...
@chilled2m: Same thing happened to me yesterday when I said that the line-up was looking like lesser versions of their console counterparts. People on this site are seemingly unable to respect others opinions.
It's the same problem the original PSP had and the reason I sold mine. I might not like the DS but it's control method allowed for some creative and unique games which was enough to distance itself from other hardware.
However, the tech behind the NGP (horrible codename; why not PSP2?) is genuinely impressive but makes me wary of the cost. Being a 16 year old with no job has its drawbacks. :p
@UnwanteDreamz: 1. I never said anything regarding a handheld's graphical capability.
2. It's really disappointing if that's true (I'm not a follower of portable consoles) as I'd assume their console counterparts are superior in a lot of ways; so why not play them? (unless, of course, you're a person that travels frequently unlike myself)
3. I haven't seen anything that grabs me *yet*. Again, I never stated that I was aware of the ...
@NIRVANArazor: How am I trolling? Go take a look at my comment history. Oh right, I forgot; you can't have a goddamn opinion on this site without getting flamed. I'm willing to give it a chance, just haven't seen anything that truly grabs me.
Kinda boring to be honest. The games slated for it are lesser versions of what I could be playing on a PS3. Probably won't buy one unless there's a broad selection of games unique to the platform. Then again, I've never been a big fan of handhelds.
Thanks for that. 99 trophies in one game, sounds a treat. ^_^
Good, no multiplayer trophies. Completing the game on Hardcore is gonna be a bitch though. Also, does anyone know if Extraction's getting a separate trophy list ala Frontline?
My eyes can't process 3D either, not that I've heard it's that great anyway.
EDIT: I normally pay no attention to disagrees but apparently I can see 3D and I've heard that it is great. Haha. :p
I don't understand why Nintendo would prevent the theme from being use. No good would come from it but I also don't see what bad could happen. I mean, it's 15 seconds for f*cks sake.
Also, to all the immature people referring to him as a girl; grow up. It's not witty or clever and sure as hell isn't funny. I'm confident most people would jump at the chance to be him and making that kind of moolah.
Just because it's on more than one platform doesn't mean it's instantly bad, you fool.
I wouldn't want Twin Snakes included; the original Grey Fox voice actor was absent from it. That's reason enough to use the PS1 version.
I've got to agree with 360degrees here. Everyone seems to criticize even the most miniscule things in CoD games. I don't see the same levels of hate geared towards franchises that remain identical to their predecessors.
I hope we get one of those energy chainsaws in Dead Space 2. :3
I don't understand why everyone is clamoring for an alternate "Villain" edition. Who wants to buy two separate editions just to own all the items? Unless, of course, it was in the same vein as CoD does theirs...
