Ubisoft is the new E.A.
I put a pre order on it and this is the first article I've seen thats made me think it might have been a mistake. If this article is true and those really are the correct comparison shots than there is something being hidden about the quality of the next gen remaster. These shots do seem a little too drastic in difference to me to believe though but every other next gen shot has had this dark look to it.
I'm sick of it. I'm selling ps4 and buying a steam machine or building a PC. I don't want to be put through 8th generation console growing pains. You should know by now how to launch a console and support it in its first year. 2.0 was weak considering it took almost a year. Delays low frame rates to boot. I'm done tolerating this for my money for a console that'll be irrelevant in 3 years.
That, with these additions makes a total of 5 games that I'd rent. And yes Sony they are all triple a titles. More triple a titles like gow ascension and infamous 2 dead space 3 and mass effect 2 and killzone 3. Give ps4 psn users the option to purchase titles through PS now also a must. i would love to add at least two of these to my library. I was going to buy watchdogs at release and then found out the release date was always a fake used to garner pre orders for system and game. This trend will continue unless "we the people" refuse to support products from developers that use this tactic. Kudos to C.o.d. for always being on time even though I don't own a single title in the franchise.
I predicted either this or the order 1886 would be delayed. The release dates were too close together for it ever to have been true. Now I'm mad. That's watch dogs the order 1886 and blood borne have all seen delays in ps4's first year to name a few. Steambox releases in 2015 at least give consumers a chance to see what a real service is all about. Psn is a joke. PS now us a joke. I'm sure xbox gays for gold isn't much better. Steam should be these systems competition bar not each other. I feel totally ripped off by Sony buying a ps4. The only thing the next gen consoles are good for will be cheap used lower quality versions of games in 5 years. Kinda like the ps3 was in the last year. Obsolete and affordable.
That's why you don't preorder games. Why not let the development team crash at your place while the game is being finalized and buy them dinner too. Pre orders are ruining games. No pre orders = better games. Why reward a developer for work that is not complete. What's next? Consumer only funded game projects that let you pre pay for developer ideas even if they are never fleshed out? Stop holding these developers hands by preordering and make them do their job in the real world
This series needs to get wrapped up and ubisoft needs to breathe a sigh of relief that A.C. has had the success its had. It really is a stupid series. I laugh everytime I see the next "worst series in the history of action SciFi" title scheduled to release. In fact the next title in the series has got a name from ubisoft already.
