Any patch during this console generation is overkill. Look on Xbox 360. Patches didn't take more than 1 minute to install now on X1/PS4 you're lucky if you're ready to play after 30 minutes.
Pretty much every AAA game has more than 10GB patches now. GTA V, AC Unity, Batman AK you name it.
Man I have like 110 games on my PS4 and I haven't even played half of them cus I cannot be bothered to constantly delete and install games. If there was only a way to save patches when deleting game? Why can't they do it? You get to keep save files when deleting game so why not patches? Do you know how it would suck if you had to uninstall The Elder Scrolls Online and reinstall? I just hope that it won't be digital only and will have full backwards compatibility with PS4. Also really I'd like PS5 to be released in 2023. Anything before 2020 is just too fast and please for the love of god don't make us install games on hard drives. Consoles aren't PC. I've got more than 110 PS4 games and 2tb hdd and it's not even enough for half of those games.

Why is everyone making such a fuss about framerate? Just because it goes down maybe for like 0,5 second doesn't mean it's already unplayable. Bethesda will eventually patch it soon. You can't you just can't expect everything to be perfect day one with the game of such scale. I'm playing on PS4 and sure there are sudden frame drops and so but that doesn't stop me from enjoying hell out of what sure is game of 2015.

Wow at the dislikes. You have to admit that Microsoft did a hell of a lot to repair their image for X1 in last 2 years while Sony has been making some rather strange decisions recently and this all is coming from a happy PS4 owner. Let's hope everything will be explained at PSX 2015 and it isn't anything like that article says.
