I'm sure all consoles will be impacted by this but X1 will be most because of the amount of DRM restrictions they've put into their X1 out of the 3 main next gen consoles. Now to think about it this document is eleven moths old so M$ must have known about it. That means that they probably found a way around this whole thing.

Probably to not embarass themselves. Even though Sony E3 game demos were shown on the actual PS4 dev kit you see what was happening. AC4 freezed, Knack crashed but for those who has a good laugh because of this guess what. The console and the games are still in development. You shouldn't expect it to run perfectly. I'll have to give credit for sony for at least using their dev kit. Or it could be that if M$ used the actual X1 dev kit worse things could happen or if somebody said xbox ...

Wait Sony didn't state what kind of games we will be able to play used no problem did they? It could be that you can play first party games used no problem but they might let publishers put their DRM for third party games. No only online modes but single player could be blocked as well in used third party game. God I sure hope that you can play both first and third party games offline. I'm beginning to panic now,

The only way that Microsoft could recover was if Sony out of nothing went bankrupt. They have damaged their reputation too much with X1. I don't think people will forget everything they're are trying to do against them with X1 that fast.
Same. I got my first xbox 360 in late 2010 and my first game on it was Mirror's Edge. @ and half years later I still have the exacly same copy of it and my game count hit 220.

Yes I agree. If we brought something with our money it is our property. That how it should be. If M$ policies were indentical or same like Sony's I bet things would be different with sales.
