Not only you my friend. I feel this is just a big middle finger to long time GTA fans and modders. Thankfully there will always be people who will manage to bypass this stupid restriction even if it costs getting banned from Online. For me I'd rather get banned from online than lose mods.
And I don't have the right to purchase this game legally for $60 then just pirate it. I have bought this game for my PC in hopes to mod the hell out of it and now I'd love to get refunded. They knew damn well lots of people would buy it again just for mods and they pull this off? F you Rockstar. I guess I'll just let GTA V collect virtual dust in my Steam library and just go back to GTA IV and San Andreas.
This is why this multiplayer is being made. So when people get banned from Online they can go to this mulstiplayer.
Wouldn't you guys be surprised if Rockstar made Steam Workshop page for GTA V with paid mods and then they would be OK with mods but only from Workshop? With like 80% of mod sale price goes for Rockstar, 15% to Valve and 5% to modder.
Wait so if you are being banned for using mods in singleplayer does that mean you getting banned from singleplayer or is it ban from GTA online for using mods in singleplayer. If the latter then I don't give two flying monkeys about online because
1.It's not that great anyway.
2.If I wanted to play online then I can go play it on 360/PS4 versions.
OK I get it NO MODS ONLINE. I agree 100% but how does having mods in SINGLEPLAYER ruin game for anybody else?
Thhen we riot.
Isn't pre-alpha like one the the first stages of game development? Just look how Assassin's Creed Unity turned out to be on release and it was being developed 4 years. I get it they'll have beta for feedback and to fix all the bugs but I can't see how they gonna finish up the game and polish it to playable state in just 6 months considering they're calling it the biggest COD game yet.
What? Little over than 6 months to release and the game is still in pre-alpha stage? Oh I can already see BF4 at launch kinda situation.
Looks like Rockstar is still trying hard to prevent modding.
There goes Lords of the Fallen 2 for PS4.
If I can buy the game for $20 which I usually do few weeks after release thanks to the power of the internet then OK. But $60 for game + $40 for season pass = HELLL NAH.
1. Capcom needs money. So they are remastering the best selling game in the franchise
2. 8th generation of consoles is obviously generation of remasters.
3. It's quick and cheap money for them.
4. They are looking for forgiveness from true DMC fans after the disaster that DmC Devil May Cry was.
5. They either can't be bothered or need money to make a true sequel to DMC 4 AKA DMC 5.
Dear Konami. Due to me being long time Metal Gear fan my last ever purchase will be Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain from you. Anything else you throw in no matter how amazing it looks I shall point my middle finger and with happiness say F you unless it's Metal Gear Solid VI/6.
I hope this time around it will be good DLC.
Anyone clever would be buying games that have season passes second hand. If not you basically end up paying for one game twice. Also it's funny that base COD game has approximately 10-16 maps per game and DLC adds like 16-20 more. Basically they put less maps on base game on purpose so people would buy DLC.
“Black Ops 3 is the Most Complete, Deepest, Richest Call of Duty Ever Made“.
“Cough,Cough“ 4 DLC packs. No game is EVER COMPLETE if it doesn't have all content in it. As long as the games have DLC it will never be "COMPLETE".
Since Blops 1 they've been making 4 DLC packs for each game so why am I not surprised?
About time.
No not Fifa World. I was enjoying it more than Fifa 15 .
Well they didn't have mod support directly from Rockstar but they didn't mind them and certainly they weren't banning anyone. It seems is all about their loan shark cards microtransactions. If people can hack money in GTA Online their loan shark cards sales would go down to hell and they would lose load of $$$. Still I do not see how mods affect them and anyone else when you used them in singleplayer. Only Rockstar and God knows.
