Halo and Gears are the flagship games for the 360. As much as i dislike the 360 for my own reasons, there is no denying that 3rd party support has bring a good variety and any gamer can find something the like in the 360 library.

the PS3 is a premium console with a premium price. I am extremely satisfied with the $500 i spend in this tremendous machine. for those wondering why $500 and still satisfied this are my reasons:

around 6 months ago it was rumored that sony would go the way of intel. instead of totally new chips, the cell would be increased in quantity per console and tweaked to meet the demand

Also i wanted the PS3
i was gonna buy the PS3 any way
but thanks to the value package it is, i have my blue ray too
plus a ton of features for free
$200 gaming console + $200 Blue Ray = satisfied customer :)
