Lost Planet Wii would actually be pretty damn cool. Hopefully it would have online play.
I'm sorry, but I'm calling absolute BS. I already wrote up one article about Ubisofts disappointing Wii support, and now this?
I understand what sells on Wii and what doesn't, but how can you say no one wants a good FPS or RPG? The Wii has a bigger hardcore fan base then you think.
Even if a good hardcore title doesn't sell well, if more developers put out more hardcore titles, then it will have the so called "casual gamers" start to try more hardcore thing...
I know everyone had high expectations, but this is one persons opinion. I don't understand why "Microsoft payed them off" or "This reviewer is a piece of trash!" Just because he didn't care for the game as much as everyone else.
It's pathetic how people can go crazy over one persons opinion. And most of you haven't even played the game yet!
I'm looking forward to this game. Even if it got reviews in the 6's, I wouldn't care, I would still buy it! ...
It also doesn't help that they apparently stated they will start brining "Nintendo-like quality" games to the Wii. I'm guess Party Babyz is Nintendo like quality too them for Wii.
Red Steel sold over one million copies. Rayman Raving Rabbids sold over one million copies. I didn't mind Rayman Raving Rabbids at first, but now it is becoming a cash-in title. Hell, what happened to the good ol' platforming Rayman? Why can't they bring that back?
I just don't get it. I understand that you can't take games like Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia and bring them to Wii do too the technical differences between the 360/PS3 and the Wii. But with all the money they have been making from these crap cash-in games, you think they would take the time to at least try and downgrade and port these titles, or at least give the Wii spin-offs of the hardcore titles.
You can blame Nintendo for allowing this on their console, but that doesn't mean that the developers have to make this crap. It's not Nintendo's fault that Ubisoft is choosing not to make good games. Ubisoft is choosing to make this crap, and although Nintendo is allowing it on their console, it doesn't mean Nintendo is stopping them from creating good hardcore titles like Red Steel 2.
Deathmatch is mostly standard for FPS games. But for the Wii? It's a rarity to have a game with online deathmatch.
The Wii only has 3 FPS games. Red Steel, Metroid Prime 3, and Medal of Honor Heroes 2. Only one of those has online multiplayer. So it's pretty rare Wii gets an FPS game, let alone an FPS game with online multiplayer.
There is no reason why Wii owners shouldn't be excited for this game!
It's a first person shooter for Wii. The developers are trying to push the Wii hardware to make a game that looks somewhat like a 360 title, or at least better then anything in the last gen. And now, it has online multiplayer!
Correction, not many Wii FPS games have this feature.
And yes, I know you were being sarcastic.
Thank God!
I don't see why anyone would disagree with my post. I just simply didn't know it was in 720p, and I thought if GTA would output 1080p, then MGS would too. But it's cool that it doesn't, I don't mind. I only have a 720p anyways.
It could be the foul language. Which I don't mind, but other people on N4G might.
Only 720p?
Sorry, but I did not know this. And I did expect a full 1080p for what will probably is the PS3's biggest title. Man that was a bad statement for a Wii fanboy. I'm still looking forward to this game none the less!
I have a question. Was the MGO beta a beta for the online multi player thats in MGS4?
That is exactly what I thought.
But, maybe to rival Mortal Kombat versus DC Universe, it might be.
Deadliest Catch VS Pirates of the Caribbean
I'd buy that.
I actually find it hilarious that almost anything that says "Haze" on the site is almost an instant 100 degrees. Hahaha.
But once again, other then NPD, is then anything else that is more reliable? I mean, I like VGChartz, go ahead and flame me for saying it.
Seriously, other then NPD, VGChartz is really the only reliable source for video game sales numbers on the internet. I don't get why everyone complains so much about it.
I don't how you people are saying 360 "LIKE" visuals aren't possible.
I'm guessing everyone is a moron and doesn't read everything correctly. The developers never said "OH YEA MAN, DIS SHIZZLE WILL BE LIKE, 360 TIMES 2!" They said they were aiming for 360 like visuals. Meaning they are hoping to get something that looks like a 360 game. Probably a very early 360 game, like a lesser Perfect Dark Zero.
Is it really impossible to achieve impressive v...
So is IGN's UK review total BS as well? I remember reading somewhere that the online servers for MGS4 aren't even up yet. How can you review a game when you can't talk about certain aspects, and when you can't even play all the modes?
