I think they should get rid of the numbering system and give them years or subtitles or something like that. And they probably should have saved this for the Wii U, but anything helps the declining Wii release library, I suppose.
They showed the console briefly in the controller unveil, it just wasn't highlighted. It's not a fake, this was definitely what was in that video, Reggie confirmed it in a G4 interview just ten minutes ago.
Seven agrees? Reggie himself just said that it's a new console with 1080p graphics, which I thought would be obvious from watching the third party support at the conference.
Gahh, people are so stupid sometimes.
ACTIVISION, win E3? What the hell kind of logic is that? One overrated game with an overpriced service doesn't win the conference. This year will most likely go to Nintendo or Sony.
I sure hope so, last year was pathetic.
And it's free! Not bad at all. :)
He did admit that he didn't have any PS3 games in the list, which makes the list an automatic fail. No matter how much of a fanboy someone is, they can't deny that the PS3 has some of the best games in this generation. Uncharted 2 and LittleBigPlanet should have been considered, and the fact that there's not a single Valve game on that list is also criminal.
No Cammie Dunaway was a GOOD thing, same with less emphasis on casual titles. E3 is a show for serious gamers and developers, not soccer moms and grandparents.
Considering that they're spending all of this year concentrating on Kinect Sports, it doesn't seem like they're planning anything special for such a milestone of an anniversary. =/
As if there's something WRONG with being gay?
This just shows how ignorant and immature fanboys really are.
Metal Gear Solid Rising will be multiplatform.
Nah, the WORST worst was Nintendo's 2008 conference. No core games, "smiles on faces", and Wii Music as their huge holiday game was the worst moment of Nintendo's history, hopefully never to be repeated again.
That being said, last year's wasn't very good, either.
Simple. The audience clapped because they were all bribed with a shiny new 360 Slim to get the bad taste of the Kinect launch failure out of their mouths.
Kinect has great potential, but they really dropped the ball here. And what happened to the demos they showed last year? Those were better than the actual products shown today.
I disagree. Which games from Japan have been so great? The only ones I know of were from Nintendo first parties. All the other great games this generation came from western developers.
It's all a matter of taste, though, so I'm just curious as to what you enjoyed. :)
In this day and age, there really isn't any excuse for loading times like this. It's not the problem of having to wait two minutes, it's that we have to wait almost a minute for every race, while each race might only take a few minutes to complete.
What I feel is really BS is how it takes a minute just to get to the main menu, then ANOTHER minute to load the interface. What is going on in that first minute of loading that's so important that they can't sav...
These are all great ideas, but, sadly, we know that none of these are going to happen. =/
I've played and beaten the game. It's seriously one of the best games I've played this year. As long as you're willing to accept some major changes to the Silent Hill gameplay formula, it DEFINITELY delivers the scares and the psychological thrills... especially since it really is nothing like the original game at all...
Some people believe that if you think gay sex is gross, that automatically makes you homophobic. That's not the case, though. If you thought gay sex wasn't gross, you'd probably be gay, yourself!
It's very personal stuff that not everyone wants to see, and nobody should be forced to see it, so one isn't homophobic just because they don't want to see personal bedroom activities, just like there are so many fetishes that exist that many people wouldn't want to see, either.
Poorly written article, barely any reasoning is given behind why the games were overhyped, the writer just says that they were. I agree with some of the choices, but there's not enough substance here to produce a meaningful article.
What on earth were 3D Realms doing for thirteen years that they couldn't even make a passable game in all that time? The best irony is, of course, with the dated graphics. They spent so much time switching engines to be state of the art that, in the end, they were still so far behind.
I don't totally blame Gearbox for this, but I do want to know what they were doing in that last month that the game got delayed if it still turned out to be a steaming pile.
