tor is more of a spin off. it is very much like kotor.
2010s game had an awesome if albeit short campaign. it was by far the most authentic, respectful and realistic feeling modern war game i have ever played - which was what i was expecting.
however it had a multiplayer mode that can be described as a mash up of battlefield and call of duty but having none of eithers strengths...
ill just leave this here...
as of nov 2011:
If you average out worldwide units sold per month of each console, the numbers favor Sony. Over its lifetime of 72 months on the market, Xbox 360 is averaging about 800,000 units sold per month. Over 60 months on the market, PlayStation 3 is averaging 925,000 units sold per month.
Based solely on averages, if you were to remove Xbox 360's year head start, 57.6 million units sold becomes 48 million units...
sniper has been on this site since 07, he is obviously just trolling and commenting for lulz and you fell for his trap...
was funny.
lol.. still kicking.
wish the rest of the trolls and fanyboys from back when were still around.
.... really ....
most of you must either be young and new to gaming with this gen or must have some memory problems. these are almost carbon copies of rumors that flew around back before the ps3 launched.
highly doubt this.
yup epic.... instead of going to bed (i work third shift) i am now going to play some tor... lol
pretty much what ^ he said.
the game all the way up to the last 5 minutes is one of the best gaming experiences ive ever had, its that freakin good.
the ending is almost guaranteed to evoke an "ugh wtf just happened?" response in you though.
i just play as i feel, and im usually 60/40 ren/par. it rarely feels like choices were good or evil to me, but more like understanding or ruthless.
then they are naive and gullible. been burned too many times with pre release pr diarrhea that i just dont give a shit anymore, its rarely true.
fool me once.
@LOGICWINS
or perhaps that it is a popular topic at the moment so they wrote an article on something that people want to read.... smh
my real gripe is that it just felt rushed... as if they spent too much time with the rest of the game... i would have been ok if the game was delayed a bit. but its ok i understand what they intended to say with the ending even if it wasnt as fleshed out as i would like and possibly as fleshed out as bioware would have liked.
stop the moaning and bitching people... please.
me1&2 were fantastic games that didnt have much variation in their endings now did they? besides with the tone of all 3 games did you really not see this coming? seriously!? yeah the cut scene is too similar and there wasnt enough closure, but what shepard faced well i saw that coming a mile away.
im not defending the ending, but come on lets get our heads out of our asses and stop this childish sense of ent...
meh... i wouldnt have played it if it didnt affect the galactic readiness rating.
mass effect 3 has been pretty wrenching at times... especially those dreams..
... shes naomi hunter!? and samus!? and bastilla!? and emma emmerich?!
wow.
@beastly....
different strokes for different folks.
so far i have really enjoyed me3 and nearly everything that bothered me about me2 has been fixed! more rpg! yes, loot! yes, no scanner! hell fucking yes, more fluid controls! yes. unfortunately there are a few new things that bother me now, less conversation options overall, from ashes dlc not included WTF!? (wont be buying it thats for sure) online mode!? entirely not necessary and if it werent for the fact...
i dont buy any activision game new thats for sure, i dont have an issue buying one used. sadly though i may start doing that with ea as well... for a while a couple of years ago it looked like ea was on track to being an awesome publisher by putting out unique and new games (mirrors edge, deadspace, etc.), but unfortunately gamers want generic shit and didnt buy into mostof them so ea went back to what they used to do.
MEH. it is what it is, and this type of crap isnt going away any sooner. it is unfortunate that bioware had to do this with mass effect 3.
dont like it? vote with your wallet and dont buy the dlc... or if it really has your panties in a bunch dont buy the game at all!
anyway ive been having a blast with me3 so far, so much so that im saddened that this is the end. :(
actually they only closed their american branch, their german branch is still operating.
