It baffles me that after all this talk, the article still got approved.
I'm getting a malware warning trying to open the link, but is this the same thing from last week that wound up being bogus?
lol, a disagree for a question.
The rubber "button" inside the controller that the trigger activates gets a wear mark from the trigger so it doesn't activate when it should. So for some people, you have to pull on the trigger hard in order to fire a weapon or get full acceleration. For some it is so bad they can't fire at all.
If they said that, please share it. I haven't seen it anywhere other than customer service people pushing off the issue.
A full pull isn't needed for driving games either. Hell, most of the games I play are driving games. Know why it isn't a problem? They account for controller wear and have a dead zone at the end to account for that. Shooting, driving, whatever, it doesn't matter what it is. Add a dead zone at the end so 100% isn't needed.
...
I do intend to take it apart and see what I can do to resolve it. I’m not buying a new controller to play one game. It would seem Rockstar hasn’t even acknowledged the issue yet, so after a month, I’m guessing this is something they’ll just sweep under the rug and ignore.
I haven’t taken it apart yet to see what I can do to fix it since none of my screwdrivers work. Friend at work brought one in today though, so I hope I can find a fix tonight.
They can fix it by adjusting for some dead zone at the end of travel. There's a reason the controllers still work fine in all other shooters. There's simply no reason to have to have 100% pull in order to fire a weapon.
I really wish they'd fix the R2 problem a lot of people are running in to, or at least add an adjustment for it in the settings to add a dead zone.
What was it people were expecting besides better graphics? I don't get it. I got what I expected.
A ton of new content? Really?
Yeah, I don't get it. I worked hard leveling up most of the Exotics. Sure a lot of them weren't that good, I knew a buff was coming. But this is how they fix it? Tossing away our progress to start over? Forget that. There's other ways of fixing them without throwing away the progress we made already. They don't respect us or our time.
Battleborn
Because it wouldn't be remade. They'd just tweak the PC version to run on current-gen consoles and release it.
Yeah, there's not really a whole lot they could add that would make it not run at 60 fps.
I don't really understand why they didn't just make it for both last and current-gen. Keep everyone happy.
They've already said it will be a while before they work on another Borderlands since they have other projects in the works. I'd love to see 3 as well, but I didn't buy the Pre-Sequel for the very reason that it might be going next-gen at some point and didn't want to bother with the last-gen version. (did the same for GTA V, Walking Dead S2, Wolf Among Us, and holding out for AC: Rogue)
Mission 3 was almost all the same stuff on the moon. the only difference is I think a connecting hallway was opened up. Enter the temple, work your way down to the hive seeder, go down a long straight section that wasn't open before and wind up in the same boss battle room as the Traveler shard from one of the other missions.
The only reason people repeat the same thing over and over again is because you have to in order to advance. Once you have what you need, you stop doing it. It's done because it's a chore, not because it is fun.
I fell for it. Thankfully I hit 30 a couple weeks ago and stepped away from the game to play something else. I tried the new stuff last night and gave up. I don't want work.
Easy. Borderlands. They don't charge $20 for an update, and you get way more than 3 new missions, a strike, a raid, and new gear. All that and they don't reuse the same areas that were already used in the main game for most of it.
The game has only been out a couple months. If they keep up the way they are going, it will fade away. I tried the DLC last night and I'm quitting the game.
" the fact that people haven't been able to log in for at least 4 days"
I was back on Saturday night. I know there has been a few people who have had issues getting logged on since, but it seems to be a separate issue.
