This is what I can't understand: GR is another reviewer that scored Dying Light lower than Dead Island. For gods sake - HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Is there any other Dying Light on the market?
Wow! that's cool! are there any other secret levels?
First parkour-like game where you can climb anything that looks climbable! No more nasty scripted paths where player is glued to designers 'desired' paths. If you're into total freedom this game is must-have.
lol ;) and they gave original Dead Island 8.5 score :D Are GT so angry because they wasn't given review copy earlier? No special treatment for such a 'big media'??!? That's why they mocked unpatched version? Seriously guys: don't act like babies...
That's ones ridiculous opinion - just played the game and it's just AWESOME! (9.0 for me)
Deleting the patch isn't the best way (it's the opposite:) Instead you can try to:
- select 'single player' in online options;
- play only in coop (do not play alone while 'PSN' is selected in online options);
- download latest patch (it's up and running in EU, I don't know if it's already published in US).
before or after the patch?
1. Dead Island is just pure fun.
2. Forza 2 is way better than Forza 3 (due to arcade physics in F3)
play it before posting your opinion. and the game is not overrated. it's an straight 8.0 game, and reviews are rather lower.
perfect dark zero was a cool game.
great news. hope it'll be true Halo experience. not the CoD-like halo reach... although compatible multiplayer makes me think there's no hope...
it's good to know that a game doesn't have to bo next cod to be sold. that's clear sign for independant developers: 'yes you can' ;)
yet another geek review. leave the trailer alone. play the game and review it once again as if the CGI doesn't exist.
it's not a suprise these days - every new IP have to be as rushed as possible only to avoid collision with cod X, gow Y, bf Z etc...
hope Techland will support this game as long as needed. IMO this game is a sample of forgotten art - game made by players for players. it's packed up with so many feautures, that single completion of a plot means you've probably seen no more than 20% of what's there to see - so be patient and go play it once again.
hope they release some kind of a map editor soon.
@HebrewHammer:
i'm pretty sure it happened for the first time with a Techland game.
i'm pretty sure that it supposed to be a 1st day patch - Techland, Deep Silver or Sony might not released it on time, and some things went out of control.
so, simply: if you want to put any offensive text/voice into a game don't try to hide it. when any offensive 'something' is exposed as a part of game mood/mechanics it's perfectly OK (an is considered to be a brilliant joke). but when someone dare to use it as a variable inside one of the scripts... 'damn that's a disgrace!', 'how dare he?', 'we'll met in court mot*****cker!'.
I really don't see ANY logical explanation other than lo...
fetch the patch.
ppl, for the christ sake, don't seek hole in the whole! digging in game pak's is stupid probably illegal (disassemblation of game content is against most EULA's).
if there's anything offending in those files it offends you at your own request.
I remember 'good old times' when reviewers split titles between themselves so each could pick a genre he/she likes and write a solid, fan-oriented article. And now some random guy picks a game he's not even able to play and writes s**t... Just buy&play this game and make sure you allowed night invasions ;)
