Agreed, it's not hard to see why DS2 wasn't as good as the others. Miyazaki clearly knows how to leave a mark.
Dark Souls 2 wasn't all bad. It just didn't click with me the same way Dark Souls 1 or Demon's Souls did but it definitely wasn't a bad game. I think Bloodborne is gonna be the best in the franchise but the seamless multiplayer has me scratching my head a bit, real players walking around instead of ghosts? Could be interesting...
It's polished as hell, the game when it launches will be even better.

Devil's third is not making me feel very optimistic about wii u's future with new IPs, unless miyamoto has some fresh ideas ready to develop but who knows by that time we'll probably already be playing the Nintendo revolution console.

It's simply not scary because all the playable characters are badasses. Don't get me started on boulder-punching chris redfield, how am i supposed to feel tense and afraid when i'm kicking ass everywhere i go? Look at dead space 1 and 2, issac is just a dude with engineer skills! Simple=Scary
I kinda agree with you on the 3rd party stuff, it was kinda obvious they were just marketing the game (dmc and mg rising)
