It's definitely confusing but if their smart they should have an option to upgrade the Xbox One backwards compatible one by paying for a $10 update for the Series X|S version. Since I'm sure both disc are just the Xbox One version, one just comes with a key to download the X|S versions if inserted into said consoles.

The story on bronze basically is an extended tutorial to get the mechanics down. Playing the story co op missions on Silver and Gold is where the challenge and fun is.
Of course playing survival missions with 3 friends is a good time as well.
Recently unlocked a Legendary sword that allows to use all 4 stances I'm almost unstoppable.
Glad they kept it close to the chest it makes it even more great. Glad single player was fully realized and then after a good amount of time with people finishing the story they release the online as a way to keep players in the game. And so far the online portion is fully realized as well.
NG+ shall be glorious plus I guess it's the only way to get both armor sets for the end decision.
I think I might play my NG+ in Kurosawa mode or at least the story missions.
Sucker Punch really knocked it out the park with this game. It's been nothing but a pure delight especially with the free online mode.

So is it the same size on Xbox One X, Series X, Series S?
I thought since Series S since isn't 4k, that it would have lower res textures for 1440p. So it that mean it shouldn't need the same 4k assets as One X and Series X, which would mean smaller file size.
But I'm no software engineer so I don't know just speculation.
With my back catalog so crazy I normally don't enjoy NG+ but this is one game I'll definitely push another game back for. Perhaps I'll play this in kurosawa mode since I seen all the colorized glory in my first play thru.
GOT already had virtually no load times especially when fast traveling. With a SSD I think fast travel will turn Jin into night crawler from X-Men.

Although this is very disappointing I was really looking forward to the free upgrade, I get it. It would be a harder pill to swallow if Spiderman came out this year but this is a game that came out 2 years ago. It isnt technically a crossgen game. The ultimate edition is essentially for the people who didn't play it on PS4. As long as the MM version is a fully fleshed game and I get 10 to 20 hours I will be happy.

Would love for a Resistance reimagining or continuation of the series on next gen hardware as well as a Sunset Overdrive 2 or whatever it needs to be called as long as it's in the same universe of characters and gaming.

You know I never used the Marksman rifle before last night. And honestly I hated it at first. However I started using the MK2 and the first round or 2 I was bad, but all of sudden I found my rhythm and I was having great games some with 25+ kills. I imagine streaming services like Gamepass, EA Play, Ubisoft+ something similar to a digital Blockbuster/Family Video or even Gamefly rental services but in this instance the publishers gets more of the money (well first party publishers like Microsoft, Ubi, EA get a bigger piece of the pie.)
