Indeed :-)
Garbage... take it down this doesn't work.
Before I got rid of a pair of 6850s and 6870s in CF I can remember off-hand Black Ops would run much better by disabling one card.
It all has to do with the support - I'm not really surprised by the scores.
While on some occasions the scaling is quite impressive (near 2x FPS) I've also had the misfortune of noticing microstutter in the past as well. This made a game playing at 120FPS feel much smoother on one card running 60FPS.
Whil...
Personally that's one of a few reasons I don't see myself going back to Crossfire/SLI again in the future. For the price, you usually get sketchy support and performance. The technology just isn't where it needs to be yet.
Yeah... this popularity contest is unnecessary.
Most who would buy the game already knew about it, and doing this kind of just insults us.
Only if you'll hold my hand.
I'll bet you get similar performance gains by attaching the electrodes to a gamers nuts.
Are we that anxious?
I don't know, but it makes me want to hurt people. Effective choice if you ask me.
A large portion of the entire video was actually leak before the release of the Fault Line series via lap-cam at PAX East 11.
I found a video on YouTube a while back, but I just checked and EA squashed it. Oh well, we can wait for people to declare their approval of the game haha.
Yeah, I kind of feel a little less excited about BF3 now.
Now I'm only 99.9% in love with it. Damn you EA.
All together the Fault Lines add up to <8 minutes so I'm assuming there's going to be new content.
S1 was easily my favorite. I put literally hundreds of hours in it, and even with the cheaters managed to rank up to just under 300. I just feel like it went down hill from there.
S2 was okay, S3 was a total mess, and Confrontation is a weak attempt to bring back the series.
I really hope S4 does the series justice and goes back to its roots...
Did you even read the article? It's saying that things AREN'T as bad as people have been making it out to be.
Don't just read a title and assume it's all the same.
Well, like I said the game is very successful and I'm sure it does some things right.
Coming from an avid gamers first impressions the game really disappointed me. The gameplay just felt terrible, and putting over a hour in to try to understand the game was like pulling teeth.
In all honesty I held back only due to the facts that I had only seen videos of the full game and the game is so largely successful already.
For your average gamer ...
The full version was explained along side and it was mentioned that the full game has other features.
If you're going to try to tell me the full version is vastly different you're delusional.
The core of the game was shown and indicated as such.
Also, note that this is not a review but rather a reaction. Look at the "article" tag, and don't be so defensive.
If you enjoy the game all power to you. From...
Losers:
-You for writing a poorly edited, poorly thought out, and hypocritical article.
-Us for having to read more of this garbage.
Winners:
-Charlie Sheen.
-The guy who reads this comment and skips the article.
I don't mean to sound harsh or biased... but that article was pure crap.
Most of what you said was pulled out of the air and loosely connected.
It seems like you cared more about getting a rise than providing any real substance.
I have no stake in this as I do not own an Xbox nor do I care what Microsoft does.
Your comment is inappropriate and shows your immaturity over being corrected.
If you can't take being corrected then don't come to the Internet... it's full of people who will piss you off.
I can hear the hooves in the distance...
